Inside Wen Conghan’s sketchbook, half of the pages are filled with drawings of Ji Mianyue. Ji Mianyue is the eldest daughter of the Ji family and an S-class Omega. She is as cold and distant as the moon hanging in the clouds.
Wen Conghan was once saved by Ji Mianyue, but she was later dragged into an abyss of greed by her. Even though Wen Conghan is an S-class Alpha, a relationship between them seemed impossible.
Everything changed when a DNA paternity test report was thrust into her hands. It revealed that Wen Conghan is the true eldest daughter of the Ji family; she and Ji Mianyue were swapped at birth.
Consequently, Wen Conghan approached Ji Mianyue for the first time. “Mianyue, you do not want to be kicked out of this house, do you?” Wen Conghan asked. Ji Mianyue looked up sharply, her eyes filled with apology and dread.
Wen Conghan’s smile deepened as she continued, “As long as you marry me, you will never have to leave our mothers.” This was the web Wen Conghan had woven, and it was a web that Ji Mianyue could not refuse.
After their marriage, Wen Conghan was the model of a perfect Alpha. She was considerate and meticulous in every possible way. This continued until the day she “accidentally” tumbled down the stairs. When she woke up, she looked at Ji Mianyue by her bedside with a dazed expression and asked, “Excuse me, who are you?”
She began to use her “amnesia” as an excuse to demand the treatment a wife deserves. She asked for morning kisses, constant attention, and even temporary markings during her heat cycle. “Ji Mianyue, you cannot run away now,” she thought.
[Mini-Theater] Driven to her wit’s end by Wen Conghan’s persistence, Ji Mianyue asked with a flushed face, “If you continue to act so recklessly, are you not afraid that I will tell our mothers?”
Wen Conghan leaned down to kiss her cheek and smiled triumphantly. “Our mothers have known for a long time that we are deeply in love. Do you really feel the need to tell them again? You are welcome to do so.”
Ji Mianyue thought to herself, “Before we got married, how did I not realize this person was so annoying?”
