It’s a fresh take on the classic villainess story, blending RPG elements into the mix.
In this game’s world, individuals are forbidden from hoarding magical power. While the main heroine, the “Saint of Benevolence,” softens the hearts of her love interests with love and healing, my favorite character is the other saint Lydia, the girl who shoulders all the hatred behind the scenes.
She’s the ruthless Magical Investigator, exposing nobles who illegally stockpile magic without mercy. Her icy sense of justice leaves her misunderstood by everyone, and in the end, she’s abandoned by her fiancé, the crown prince, and exiled from the kingdom, a tragic fate befitting the “Villainess Saint.”
After endless overtime shifts, Lydia’s miserable bad ending weighs too heavily on my exhausted heart.
“That’s just too cruel…!” I sobbed over my favorite’s fate, only to be hit by a truck that very night.
And when I woke up again…
