Shen Lishu is a top-tier Film Queen at a young age, the absolute ceiling of both popularity and talent. To repay a favor, she accepts a role in a “Girls’ Love” (GL) drama.
Co-starring with her is An Rongrong, a newcomer who recently debuted from a girl group survival show. She is beautiful with a sweet voice, long legs, a slender waist, and eyes as clear as a mountain spring. Most importantly, the way she calls her “Sister” over and over again makes one’s heart melt.
Shen Lishu fails to restrain herself. On set, her chemistry with An Rongrong is tangled and intensely ambiguous; off-camera, she directly pins the girl against the dressing room table, teasing her until her eyes mist over and she begs for mercy in a soft voice.
On the day the filming wraps, Shen Lishu prepares flowers and a ring, ready to confess her love to An Rongrong. Instead, those clear eyes look at her calmly as An Rongrong tilts her head and whispers, “Sister, weren’t we just acting before?”

An Rongrong loved Shen Lishu throughout her entire adolescence. Shen Lishu was her first spark of affection and her deepest love. She even stepped into the entertainment industry for her, using her family background to secure an opportunity to be in the same production.
An Rongrong felt her methods were despicable, but she nonetheless wove a beautiful dream for herself that would last only a few short months—a dream where she and Shen Lishu were entangled until death.
On the day filming wrapped, she saw Shen Lishu walking toward her. Fearing that the other woman would speak and shatter all the beautiful memories of the past, An Rongrong decided to strike first.
Hiding all her fragility and heartbreak, she said to Shen Lishu, “We were just acting, Sister.”
