Qi Yan felt incredibly unlucky. She was dragged into an unknown world of horror by a book called The Supernatural Tales. To make matters worse, not only was she being hunted by ghosts, she was also being pestered by a powerful demon.
She had casually drawn a beginner’s fortune slip, and a golden light shot out from it. She thought it was a precious item like a “revival card,” but instead, a stunningly beautiful woman appeared before her.
The woman stared intently at her, then with a flick of her sleeve, a white light shot directly at Qi Yan, ultimately transforming into a silver ring that clasped itself onto her left ring finger.
“I’ve heard that you modern humans wear a contract on this finger when you marry. Now that our spiritual contract is complete, you are mine, my dear wife.”
Qi Yan: ???
Qi Yan’s first draw was a golden card: [The Nine-Tailed Fox King]. She thought she had finally gotten a powerful advantage, only to discover that the Fox King’s spiritual power was severely damaged, and she could only recover less than 20% of it by staying by Qi Yan’s side. And Qi Yan, a completely ordinary college student, had become the demon king’s personal “power bank” due to that inexplicable spiritual contract and ludicrous marriage.
The golden ticket she imagined had become a live-in ancestor she had to wait on. Qi Yan thought to herself, “I’m literally done.”
So, in order to survive, she dedicated herself to being a good “power bank” and diligently “taking care of her wife,” hoping that under her protection, she could escape the instance alive and successfully “divorce” her.
At first, Qi Yan’s motto was: “I must get a divorce!” Later on, Qi Yan was like: “Wuwuwu, wife, look at me!”
