Mu Yin is the vicious female side character in a tragic novel.
According to the original plot, she is supposed to—
obsess over the male lead,
go crazy for him,
slam her head against the wall for love,
and finally be sent straight to the metaphorical crematorium.
On top of that, every man in the book treats her with icy disdain:
“Stay away from me.”
“I will never like you.”
System: “Your mission is to be a professional villain. Understood?”
Mu Yin: “Got it. Cause trouble, right?”
Morals tossed aside—happiness secured.
So when she starts following the script…
System: “Confess to the male lead, get brutally rejected, then descend into villainy.”
Mu Yin: “OK.”
She turns around and casually executes the task:
“I like you. Be my boyfriend.”
The male lead stares at her for a long moment, then curls his lips into a smile.
“Alright.”
Mu Yin: ?
Mu Yin: ??
Wait—
isn’t something seriously wrong with this male lead’s script?
Even stranger, the other men don’t seem mentally stable either—
“Why don’t you really like me?”
“What’s so good about him that you have to like him?”
“Like me… okay?”
