Through a chance encounter and a stroke of confusion, Raven ended up in a “bedroom partnership”—commonly known as friends with benefits with Hollis, a man from the opposing faction.
This partner of his is the ultimate “over-achiever.” He handles everything from Raven’s food and clothing to his daily commute and “harmonious physical activities.” The only problem? He manages too much—he even strictly forbids Raven from using a hairdryer in the bathroom.
For the most part, they coexisted in peace. That is, until a certain consultative meeting where someone stumbled upon them in a secluded public restroom. These two “Twin Stars” of rival factions were caught in a heated argument.
Once the news broke, the rumors spiraled out of control:
“Raven and Hollis got into a shouting match in the restroom!”
“Raven and Hollis actually came to blows in the restroom!”
“Raven and Hollis were in the restroom doing…”
Versions of the story varied, but the consensus was the same: the two were riddled with conflict and could not stand each other.
“When two people are together, people will weave rumors; just as when two branches grow close, a spider will hang its web.”
Consequently, every time the public saw them near each other, their gazes grew increasingly strange. As time passed, leaks were inevitable.
Following a stern warning from Raven, the other party involved—Hollis, merely cocked a broken eyebrow and wore a look of utter disdain. He expressed: “A bunch of people with no taste. A delicious ‘CP’ is right in front of them, and they don’t even know how to stan it.”
Raven understood the concept of “shipping,” but he didn’t understand why Hollis would use it to describe them. He laughed it off as a joke. But fire cannot be wrapped in paper; when the relationship was finally exposed in an unexpected way, Raven was shocked to discover—Hollis actually thought they were dating?!
But they are from different factions! How could they possibly be in a relationship?!
