The first time Zhong Ning met Su Yuan, she felt as if she were looking at the literal personification of her “Ideal Mature Woman”. Su Yuan is a British-Born Chinese (BBC) of Hong Kong descent, a former Associate in the Investment Banking Division at UBS, whose family resides in an affluent area of South London. Every gesture, her temperament, her taste—even the fact that she only speaks Cantonese and English—is incredibly charming. Zhong Ning instantly forgot all about the dull, tasteless dinner party they were attending.
