Help! Please Take the Heroine Away [Quick Transmigration] - Chapter 30.1
Binding Her Hands With…
While Ye Qingyu was speaking to her secretary, a glint of mischief flashed in Xie Mingyao’s eyes. The hand resting on Ye Qingyu’s knee began to slowly slide upward.
Her palm pressed gently against the fabric of Ye Qingyu’s trousers, kneading every inch of skin beneath. She could clearly feel the muscles in Ye Qingyu’s thigh tense, her breathing growing slightly uneven.
“President, are you alright?” The secretary, who had been listening to Ye Qingyu point out flaws and details in the proposal, noticed something amiss and looked at her with concern.
The usually composed and aloof CEO of Ye Corporation now had a faint blush dusting her fair cheeks. Her cold, delicate features seemed to be suppressing something.
This side of her was even more captivating. If she hadn’t gone into business and instead entered the entertainment industry, she would have easily overshadowed every other actress.
The secretary shook his head vigorously, quickly dismissing the thought.
That was far too dangerous. If Ye Qingyu ever found out, she’d have his head!
Ye Qingyu clenched her fountain pen tightly, her pale pink fingertips whitening from the pressure. Her voice was strained as she replied, “It’s nothing.”
But Xie Mingyao knew Ye Qingyu far too well, how could she not sense her tension? Her smile deepened as she continued her mischievous teasing.
Ye Qingyu kept speaking in that cool, detached tone, pointing out issues in the proposal, but under Xie Mingyao’s playful torment, her breathing grew increasingly erratic. Her body stiffened, and she glanced down at the young woman looking up at her with a smug grin.
Under the desk, Ye Qingyu reached out and seized Xie Mingyao’s misbehaving hand.
Xie Mingyao responded by lightly scratching Ye Qingyu’s palm with her fingertips, only for Ye Qingyu to retaliate by gripping them firmly, preventing further movement. But that hardly stopped Xie Mingyao, she simply switched to her other hand to continue the mischief.
“For now… these are the main issues…” Ye Qingyu held her breath, struggling to suppress the effects of Xie Mingyao’s relentless teasing. She fought to keep her voice steady, but the secretary’s unwavering gaze only amplified her embarrassment.
Though the secretary found it odd that the president’s face was growing increasingly flushed, he chalked it up to a possible fever. He wanted to express concern but knew Ye Qingyu’s temperament well and he had already asked once. So without another word, he respectfully took the documents and left.
The moment the office door clicked shut, Xie Mingyao eagerly emerged from beneath the desk and darted to the opposite side, keeping the furniture between them to avoid capture.
She leaned forward, resting her hands on the desk as she admired the rosy hue now coloring Ye Qingyu’s cheeks. That usually icy face had transformed into something dazzling and alluring.
Xie Mingyao smirked, taunting, “Tsk tsk, the great CEO, acting like that in front of her secretary.”
“So eager to play under the desk.” Ye Qingyu slowly rose to her feet, her voice unhurried as she cut Xie Mingyao off. Her dark, fathomless eyes gleamed with danger.
Xie Mingyao immediately sensed trouble. Afraid that Ye Qingyu might actually follow through, she bolted for the door but she was a step too late. It was as if Ye Qingyu had been reincarnated from lightning itself; in just a few strides, she caught up.
Nearby was a lounge area partitioned by sofas. Xie Mingyao was thrown onto one of them, scrambling to sit up with her hair disheveled and clothes slightly askew. The gaps between her undone buttons revealed a glimpse of her undergarments.
Ye Qingyu pinned her hands above her head, her slender fingers deftly working on the top button. Just as the button was about to come undone, Xie Mingyao urgently said, “Wait.”
“Oh?” Ye Qingyu raised an eyebrow, looking at her with playful amusement.
Xie Mingyao suppressed her embarrassment and lightly rubbed her foot against Ye Qingyu’s calf, whispering, “Let me take the lead this time.”
As she spoke, she forcefully pulled her pinned hands free, twisting her body to reverse their positions in an instant. Ye Qingyu now sat on the sofa, her dark eyes silently watching her.
Xie Mingyao cleared her throat, fighting back her shyness as she mimicked Ye Qingyu’s earlier actions, pinning her hands above her head.
From start to finish, Ye Qingyu didn’t resist, but the depths of her obsidian eyes grew increasingly dark and unfathomable, the predatory glint within them sending shivers down Xie Mingyao’s spine.
Xie Mingyao’s hands trembled slightly, nearly losing control and letting go to flee. But under Ye Qingyu’s intense gaze, she didn’t dare, if she were caught, the consequences would be dire.
She leaned in, planting soft kisses along Ye Qingyu’s brow and down her face while undoing the buttons of her blouse. Once she loosened the straps of the inner garment, she used them to bind Ye Qingyu’s hands together.
The system screamed in her mind: What are you doing? This is OOC!
Xie Mingyao feigned innocence: I’m just using this to escape. That’s not OOC, right?
Though the system believed her excuse, the main system’s protocols embedded in its data didn’t care. Immediately, Xie Mingyao felt a powerful surge of electricity course through her.
Gritting her teeth against the pain, she released Ye Qingyu’s now-bound wrists and covered her eyes with her palm. The flutter of long lashes against her skin sent tingles through her hand.
Taking a deep breath, she pulled a handkerchief from Ye Qingyu’s pocket and gently draped it over her eyes before continuing to undo the buttons. Just as Ye Qingyu began to relax into the moment, Xie Mingyao stole a glance at the office door, then swiftly stood and bolted.
Ye Qingyu: “…”
The handkerchief slipped from her eyes. Ye Qingyu stared at the closed door, her expression darkening.
Well played.
Once outside, Xie Mingyao staggered into the restroom, barely managing to shut the door before collapsing to the floor.
Her face, once flushed with warmth, was now deathly pale. She curled into herself, trembling uncontrollably as sweat drenched her body. It felt like an eternity before the electric shocks finally subsided, leaving her as limp as a drowned rat.
The system whimpered in sympathy: Sniff… Host, you shouldn’t have done that. Look, you got shocked again.
Xie Mingyao dragged herself to the sink, splashing water on her face and straightening her clothes. Weakly, she replied: To keep the female lead from doing… that to me, I’d endure any shock.
Tears welled up in the system’s metaphorical eyes, how could its host be so dedicated?!
Gritting its teeth, the system declared: I’ll report this to the higher-ups. Next time something like this happens, I’ll try to get the shock waived.
A flicker of calculation passed through Xie Mingyao’s eyes, though she feigned concern: Won’t that be too much trouble for you?
The system reassured her: It might be tough, but I’ll do my best.
Xie Mingyao said with emotion, “Wuwu, System, you’re so good to me. I’ll work hard on missions from now on!”
The System replied, “Host, I believe in you.”
Xie Mingyao gave a faint smile in the mirror before stepping out of the restroom. She pushed open the door to the secretary’s office, poked her head in, and greeted cheerfully, “Hi, everyone! My name is Xie Mingyao, the new assistant. Where should I sit?”
The busy secretaries at their desks all looked up and then turned their gazes in unison toward the head of the department, Secretary Han.
Secretary Han set aside her work, stood up, and walked toward the door.
The CEO had personally instructed her to “arrange things properly,” and those words carried a lot of implications.
No interview, directly appointed as the CEO’s assistant since the company’s founding, the CEO had never had one. So, Secretary Han immediately understood the underlying message.
She led Xie Mingyao through the onboarding process. With her guidance, the formalities were completed swiftly. Then, Secretary Han took Xie Mingyao to collect some office supplies.
“You’re the first person our CEO has personally brought into the company. Before this, there was never an assistant position by the CEO’s side,” Secretary Han probed subtly.
Xie Mingyao was a little surprised but didn’t dare reveal her true relationship with Ye Qingyu, brushing it off vaguely.
After returning to the office, Xie Mingyao sat at her workstation and greeted her colleagues, who responded warmly.
The other secretaries were extremely curious. They took out their phones and asked Secretary Han about Xie Mingyao in their boss-free group chat, but even Secretary Han hadn’t uncovered anything, simply saying she didn’t know.
This only made things more mysterious.
