Help! Please Take the Heroine Away [Quick Transmigration] - Chapter 27.2
The young mistress, sleeping soundly in the middle of the bed, was anything but peaceful her blanket had been kicked aside, her nightgown was bunched messily around her waist, revealing a pair of beautifully shaped, snow-white legs.
Though the bedroom was kept at a constant temperature by the air conditioning, the body’s functions slowed during sleep, making her feel cold. Xie Mingyao curled up like a shrimp, her raven-black hair spread across the pillow, only half of her fair face visible.
Ye Qingyu sat by the bed, quietly observing Xie Mingyao.
The once lofty young mistress she had to look up to was now reduced to relying on others but the one she depended on wasn’t her.
A storm brewed in Ye Qingyu’s dark eyes. The long-suppressed, hidden desire could no longer be restrained after today’s events.
She raised her hand and slowly traced Xie Mingyao’s face, her delicate fingertips gliding over soft, smooth skin from the temple to the lips, then down to the jawline…
Mingyao, look at me. Why can you only see others but never me?
Ye Qingyu hooked her fingers under Xie Mingyao’s fair chin and leaned in, pressing her warm, soft lips against hers.
System: “!!”
The system couldn’t stay calm. A piercing scream echoed in the mental space: [Ahhh! Host, wake up! The female lead is acting strange very strange! Push her away, reject her!]
Though not an old hand, the system wasn’t a novice either. It had served several hosts before and recognized this situation. The female lead’s gaze was all too familiar wasn’t this the look of someone about to take things further?!
Xie Mingyao, deep in sleep, was abruptly jolted awake by the noise in her mind. Just as she was about to irritably tell the system to shut up, she felt something probing into her lips.
Her body stiffened, and she nervously swallowed.
Could there be a ghost in the room?
As she trembled and was about to ask the system, it spoke first: [Host, it’s the female lead! This is bad, I think she wants to devour you!]
Xie Mingyao’s eyes flew open in shock.
Under the cold, clear moonlight, Ye Qingyu’s breathtakingly beautiful face loomed large in her vision.
Seeing her awake, Ye Qingyu didn’t stop. Instead, the kiss deepened, becoming more lingering and intense. Xie Mingyao froze, only snapping out of it when her tongue went numb. Urged by the system, she feigned sudden realization and shoved Ye Qingyu away.
“What are you doing? Have you lost your mind?!” Xie Mingyao scrambled up in a panic, wiping her mouth while glaring fiercely at her.
Her dark almond-shaped eyes were glistening from the prolonged kiss, her plump, crimson lips swollen especially the Cupid’s bow, looking like a rose petal that had been ravaged.
Ye Qingyu gazed deeply at Xie Mingyao, who was putting on a fierce front but resembled a startled kitten, and offered a faint smile. “What do you think? Can’t you tell, Ah Yao?”
Her tone was too intimate even Xie Mingyao’s own mother had never called her that. But right now, Xie Mingyao was too stunned by Ye Qingyu’s actions to even notice the affectionate address.
“You refuse my help but accept others’? What, do you like her more?” Ye Qingyu leaned in, one hand braced against the headboard beside Xie Mingyao’s head, her voice slow and deliberate.
Her low, husky voice carried a barely detectable hint of grievance and jealousy.
But Xie Mingyao didn’t pick up on it. All she could think was that Ye Qingyu was insane sneaking into someone else’s home in the dead of night and doing… that to her!
“None of your business!” Xie Mingyao snapped back.
The warmth in Ye Qingyu’s eyes instantly chilled, the air around them freezing over. “Not my business? Do you really think you wandered the streets for so long without being snatched up by coincidence?”
The moment Xie Mingyao’s parents left the country, their creditors had caught wind of it. To prevent her from fleeing, they had tracked her down immediately, intending to seize her and figure out how to make her repay the debts.
“What are you talking about?” Xie Mingyao was both shocked and suddenly wary.
Her watery eyes made her look pitifully delicate, and the coldness in Ye Qingyu’s demeanor melted away. Hidden beneath her gaze was a tenderness as she traced Xie Mingyao’s swollen lips marked from her own kisses and murmured, “What do you think? I shielded you from those debt collectors. What else could I possibly want from you besides you?”
Xie Mingyao slapped her hand away and hugged herself tightly, glaring defensively. “You did that on your own! Don’t think I’ll become your servant to pay you back!”
Even now, the oblivious young mistress still believed her former rival once humiliated and bullied was merely seeking retribution for past grievances.
“You’ll find out soon enough, A-Yao.”
Ye Qingyu nearly laughed in frustration. Suddenly, she moved, climbing onto the bed and dragging Xie Mingyao back by the ankle just as she tried to scramble away.
The younger girl’s struggles were swiftly subdued as a small case was opened beside them. A soft, fluffy pink restraint like a collar wrapped around her wrists, binding them above her head. It was plush but unyielding.
Small bells dangled from it, their delicate chimes ringing with every movement, filling the quiet bedroom with an ambiguous allure.
The woman who had once been meek and silent in Xie Mingyao’s presence had finally shed that facade, revealing the deepest, greediest desires hidden in her heart.
“Ye Qingyu, have you lost your mind?! Let me go!”
Xie Mingyao stared up at her, the shadow of Ye Qingyu’s body blotting out the moonlight. She struggled with all her might, but Ye Qingyu was immovable unyielding as a mountain.
“Why didn’t you come to me? Why seek out others? Ah Yao, I’m so jealous.” Ye Qingyu’s index finger lingered on Xie Mingyao’s cheek, her thumb pressing against the teardrop mole at the corner of her eye. Their gazes locked, the depths of her dark eyes swirling with inscrutable emotions.
“First Zhou Yanfeng, then Zhou Ruohan. Will there be others after them?”
The friction against Xie Mingyao’s teardrop mole stung, as if it were bleeding, making the crimson mark even more vivid. She tried to turn her head away, but her chin was seized, forcing her face to remain still.
The softness beneath her fingertips sent waves of exhilaration through Ye Qingyu, her blood boiling with intensity. The terrifying possessiveness in her eyes could no longer be concealed.
Xie Mingyao had already begun to sense Ye Qingyu’s true intentions. A shiver ran through her body, her voice trembling as she pleaded, “Ye Qingyu, even if I was wrong to bully you back then, you don’t have to retaliate like this.”
The once-proud young lady had long abandoned her pride, her damp eyes glistening pitifully as she begged Ye Qingyu for mercy.
Ye Qingyu let out a cold laugh. “How can you be so dense? But yes, I do intend to bully you.”
Just in a different way.
