- Chapter 2 - Miss Succubus, Be Bold, Finish Early. Master, Please Hurry...
“This place is…”
When Li Ting regained consciousness and opened her eyes again, she saw a completely unfamiliar ceiling.
She seemed to have moved, no longer in that narrow dressing room.
This was a sealed space filled with a futuristic, high-tech atmosphere.
There were no windows, and the square structure resembled a precisely cut metal cube. A dazzling white fluorescent light hung high from the ceiling, illuminating the entire space.
The four walls were covered with a new type of composite material; the seemingly pure white surface shimmered with an iridescent, mother-of-pearl-like glow under the strong light. The most conspicuous feature was a giant electronic screen, hung high on the snowy white wall.
Li Ting was completely out of place in this high-tech space, as if she had appeared out of thin air.
Kidnapping? No, that’s not right.
A prank show? Impossible.
Could it be transmigration? But that also felt a bit off.
All sorts of possibilities kept popping up in Li Ting’s mind, but she quickly dismissed each one.
The time from closing her eyes to opening them again was not long. Human power could not have moved her so quickly.
Coupled with the last memory of a flash of white light in her mind, this was clearly an unscientific means.
All of this had broken through humanity’s current understanding, simply chilling to the bone.
Moreover, what was even stranger was that her clothes had changed.
She hadn’t felt anything physically, as if it were some kind of magical spell.
Her original black suit pants had been replaced by knee-high patent leather boots. Her waist was cinched incredibly tight by a black corset, and a strange, scarlet tattoo was faintly visible on her exposed, hollowed-out abdomen, slowly rising and falling with her breath.
She felt this tattoo was odd, somewhat like…
Li Ting recalled the voice in her mind just before she closed her eyes.
Like a succubus!!
If she really had turned into a succubus, then other parts of her body would have also mutated.
While thinking, she raised her hand to touch the top of her head. A pair of curved horns felt cold to the touch, and she also felt an unusual weight behind her.
She suddenly whipped her head around to look, and there, strikingly, was a long, slender tail ending in a barbed, heart-shaped tip.
As the saying goes, a cat and a cat’s tail are two different creatures, and the same can be true for a person and their tail.
At this moment, the tail was twitching uncontrollably, restlessly slapping the ground, betraying its owner’s current anxiety.
Good heavens, even her species had changed. Was she not just transmigrating?
Li Ting didn’t usually read novels, but her assistant was quite well-versed and occasionally chatted with her about the settings of transmigration stories.
If she remembered correctly, she’d heard something about being bound to a system.
So, she tentatively called out, “System?? Is anyone there?”
Perhaps in response to her, a burst of white mist suddenly appeared on the floor, and immediately after, a figure materialized out of thin air.
Another person transmigrated!!
Was this how she had been transported here too?
What was the principle behind this?
When in doubt, quantum mechanics??
Truly amazing.
Li Ting’s mind was full of curiosity. Her scientific, logical mindset instantly took the high ground, vanquishing all fear.
“This is—”
The girl on the floor slowly raised her head, and it was none other than her arch-rival, Si Xiaoxiao, the one she had just argued with!!
The two looked each other in the eye, and then the girl let out a scream.
“Li Ting, you, what did you do to me? Why, I, I…”
She instantly started to become incoherent.
Perhaps because Li Ting was the first thing she saw, Si Xiaoxiao clearly hadn’t noticed the changes around her immediately. She only noticed Li Ting’s presence, thus falling into a misunderstanding.
And her current predicament certainly matched the strange guesses in her mind.
She was half-lying on the floor, a leather collar inlaid with rubies around her neck. The silver chain on the other end was wrapped around a pillar, and her whole body was tightly bound with black ropes, highlighting her excellent figure while contrasting with her snow-white skin.
What was even stranger was that she was only draped in a layer of translucent black gauze, her fair skin vaguely visible. Yet, while there was very little cloth on her body, she wore intricate, gorgeous lace gloves on her hands, and the high heels on her feet shimmered brightly, creating a strong contrast.
Clearly, this attire was for some kind of special erotic occasion.
Si Xiaoxiao’s cat-like round eyes were wide open, and her ears were scarlet. The more she struggled, the tighter the ropes around her body constricted.
Li Ting circled Si Xiaoxiao with a hint of schadenfreude, her tail wagging happily, “Look at you today.”
“You! Li Ting, you’re going too far!”
Si Xiaoxiao’s eyes instantly filled with rage, turning red as if she would burst into tears the next second.
But she refused to lower herself and beg Li Ting, so the crystal tears stayed in her eyes, swirling.
A bright, proud rose, raised delicately, had never suffered such humiliation.
Her appearance at this moment made her look even more pitiful.
Li Ting instinctively put her hands up in surrender, somewhat afraid of her explosive temper: “Don’t look at me like that, I don’t know what’s going on either. Haven’t you noticed that we’ve changed spaces and clothes? This can’t be done with technological means.”
“What does that mean…”
As if to corroborate her statement.
As soon as she finished speaking, the only screen in the room suddenly lit up, displaying several large red characters.
[The script roles activated this time are: Miss Succubus and Her Contract Hound.]
[Today is Miss Succubus’s coming-of-age birthday. As a succubus, the best coming-of-age gift, of course, is to have an obedient Contract Hound.]
[However, the Contract Hound is not quite obedient. The kind Miss Succubus has decided to discipline her properly—enjoy yourself, Miss Succubus, vent your desires. Today will be an incredibly happy day. (The Contract Hound must obey all of Miss Succubus’s commands. Disobedience will trigger a penalty mechanism.)]
What kind of perverted nonsense was this?
Li Ting widened her eyes, feeling her sight was polluted.
Meanwhile, Si Xiaoxiao flailed her limbs in dissatisfaction, but her focus was slightly skewed: “Damn it, why am I the dog?! Let Li Ting be the dog! I’ll be the Master!!”
However, she did look quite like a puppy in this state.
A puppy…
Wasn’t this the best chance to torment her arch-rival?
The thought flashed through Li Ting’s mind.
However, Si Xiaoxiao looked genuinely pitiful at this moment.
Forget it.
As a responsible adult woman, she shouldn’t stoop to the level of a child.
“System, how can we leave.” Li Ting decided to give Si Xiaoxiao the cold shoulder; not tormenting her was already her greatest mercy.
The system’s voice sounded: [Complete the mission and satisfy the intimacy requirement.]
Intimacy?
What did that mean?
However, the other person present was quick on the uptake. Although Si Xiaoxiao was usually an airhead, she could be quite sharp when it came to her own affairs: “It seems we need to cooperate to get out of here!”
Since it was an intimacy requirement, it naturally involved both parties.
She certainly had a point.
“So, a partnership?” Li Ting asked tentatively.
Si Xiaoxiao raised her chin imperiously, saying in a pampered, delicate voice, “A partnership is fine, but Li Ting, hurry up and unlock the things on me first.”
She immediately wanted to flip the script and become the master, but unfortunately—
The moment she finished speaking, her body went into a spasm, followed by a violent tremor, and a suppressed moan escaped her lips.
Clearly, she had suffered a punishment, and it seemed to be—an electric shock penalty.
The system’s electronic voice sounded again: [Please follow the established persona and enact the scenario.]
“What the hell is this!”
Si Xiaoxiao was the first to lose her temper and started cursing.
And then, she was electrocuted again.
This time, it lasted a full minute, bringing tears to the eyes of the young girl who had never experienced such things. They streamed down in large drops, making her look quite pathetic.
As a bystander, Li Ting couldn’t help but feel a little sympathy.
But Si Xiaoxiao had always been a stubborn girl. The more she was told not to do something, the more enthusiastic she became about it.
She just wouldn’t admit defeat; that’s what youthful vigor was like.
“I just won’t accept it, I want to be the Master! You %$#…”
And then, Si Xiaoxiao was electrocuted again. This time, it left her utterly drained of strength, yet she still managed to shout in a hoarse voice: “I… won’t… surrender.”
That was Si Xiaoxiao, a serious and tenacious airhead.
Once she decided on something, she had to do it, no matter the cost.
Even the system seemed a little helpless and offered a somewhat humanized reminder: [If the mission is continuously not completed, the system does not have the authority to let you leave.]
So humanized?
This system wasn’t entirely a precisely calculating instrument.
It seemed to have its own emotions?
Li Ting calmly observed: if Si Xiaoxiao didn’t learn to yield, she would be implicated.
This should have been annoying—what a selfish person.
But Li Ting didn’t stop her struggle.
“Change the roles!”
[Roles are fixed and cannot be modified. Please, Host, complete the mission as soon as possible.]
“Let us out!”
[Please complete the mission as soon as possible.]
“Then change the roles.”
The system finally pulled out its ultimate threat: [Warning, time is only paused for thirty minutes. If the Host does not complete the mission soon, you will never be able to return to the real world.]
“What did you say!? If I don’t act out the script, I have to! Stay! Forever! With this dead-faced White Lotus?!”
Li Ting, who was inexplicably insulted, did not look pleased: “Oh, staying with me, you must be truly wronged.”
Finally, even the stubborn Si Xiaoxiao resigned herself to fate.
She spoke with a hint of self-abandonment, the light seemingly gone from her eyes: “Be bold, finish early. Master, please hurry and punish me.”
Her tone was utterly devoid of hope, like a listless fish who had lost its dream, which made the word “Master” seem slightly less embarrassing.
Because the words “Master” provided a cover, the strange system did not judge her as failing to meet the persona.
Li Ting thought for a moment, contemplating the persona of Miss Succubus in her mind, and carefully opened her mouth: “Puppy, kneel before your Master.”
She emphasized “Puppy” and “Master,” thinking it should pass.
Sure enough, after a moment, she did not feel an electric shock.
An unknown force appeared the instant Li Ting gave the command. Si Xiaoxiao’s body uncontrollably knelt on the velvet carpet by the carved armchair. The silver chain of the leather collar made a fine, crisp sound with her movement. The skin under the black gauze flushed crimson from shame and indignation.
Yet, Li Ting was a deliberately mischievous person. She circled Si Xiaoxiao with satisfaction, slowly dragging the tip of her tail across the girl’s ankle. The barbs on it scraped her skin, causing Si Xiaoxiao to instinctively tremble.
Although the play was a strange kind of play, watching her arch-rival suffer was immensely gratifying!!
