Lin Min is breathtakingly beautiful but possesses an incredibly slow-witted personality. After being bound to the “Holy Father System 0766,” he is tasked with traveling to various minor worlds to play the role of a “self-sacrificing cannon fodder,” a character who is kind-hearted to a fault.
He performs his roles with the utmost dedication, rushing to wherever danger is most prevalent. However, whether it is the protagonist who once considered him a nuisance or the villain who was prepared to kill him, they all begin to compete desperately for the chance to save him.
World 1: The Blind Husband in a Horror Game
Role: You are the blind husband in a horror game. You are slow, kind, and easily bullied by anyone. Ultimately, you die a tragic death at the hands of your husband, the Dungeon Boss, while attempting to save others.
In order to stop the Boss from leaving to hunt players, Lin Min grabs hold of his “husband,” who has already transformed into a ghost. He claims to have a headache and begs his husband to stay and keep him company, but he suddenly feels cold tentacles coiling around him. He is forced to sit on his husband’s lap and utter words that fill him with deep shame.
After the piteous husband is eventually rescued, he still trembles when touched unintentionally. He subconsciously throws himself into the arms of the protagonist standing beside him, his eyes wet and red as he kisses the man’s lips and pleads for his husband not to bully him anymore. When the protagonist catches the soft body falling into his arms, the other players find their eyes turning red with inexplicable envy.
Later, when the protagonist and the Boss engage in combat, Lin Min waits to be accidentally killed in the crossfire. Instead, he finds that both men protect him perfectly while simultaneously trying to drive each other to their deaths.
The Boss: “Baby, do you care about them that much? If so, how about I cut off their heads and give them to you as a gift?”
The Protagonist: “Baby, you do not want to be a widower, do you? Therefore, once he is dead, how about you remarry me instead?”
World 2: The Country Bumpkin in a Prestigious Academy
Role: You are a “country bumpkin” from the countryside and a plaything for the wealthy second-generation heirs. You arrive at the elite academy with a token of love to find your boyfriend, only to be trapped in a web of lies and deceit, eventually becoming a shared “canary” who is humiliated and harmed by the socialites.
Lin Min conscientiously follows the script. When they push him into the water, he jumps in ahead of time. When they command him to remove his clothes, he immediately complies until only one layer remains. However, just as he is shivering from the cold, someone suddenly wraps a coat around him and pulls him into a tight embrace.
Soon, someone wants to possess him exclusively. However, the other socialites who shared him are unwilling to let go, and they begin to fight and bicker out of jealousy. After showering him with expensive gifts and taking the opportunity to kiss him until he is dizzy, they always pinch his waist and threaten him: “Baby, your boyfriend is incompetent. How about you date me instead? You would not want your boyfriend to find out, would you?”
By the time Lin Min regains his senses, he sees his once-arrogant boyfriend, who was supposed to ignore him, acting as if his wife had been stolen. With eyes red with madness, the boyfriend asks: “Am I alone not enough to satisfy you? Do you truly feel the need to go and seduce them?”
In every world, as Lin Min is held and kissed by people competing for him until his head spins, he continues to wonder how the plot could have possibly turned out this way.
