Upon arriving in a new, unfamiliar city, Li Mo was determined to carry out his chivalrous spirit of seeing injustice and intervening. As a result, he was “invited for tea” (detained by the police) several times.
Coincidentally, Xu Qing, the person he had several “unfortunate encounters” with at the police station, turned out to be his desk-mate.
