At eight years old, Shen Yanchuan was abandoned at an orphanage. It was there she met Gu Tan, the woman who would change her life, her teacher. Years later, Gu Tan became the most unspeakable secret buried in her heart. Every diary entry revolved around her: the restless stirrings of puberty, the countless fantasies… But how could she dare to desecrate the person she respected most?
[Gu Tan’s Perspective]: Gu Tan recognized Shen Yanchuan’s natural talent and often showed her favoritism. She believed that being kind to everyone was simply a virtue, never imagining that her most prized student would develop “improper” feelings for her years later. Or that one night, that same student would lose control and press a kiss against the curve of her neck.
Reason told Gu Tan that this had to stop. But whenever she looked into the girl’s misty, pleading eyes, she simply couldn’t find the heart to push her away.
After graduating, Shen Yanchuan became a translator with a seemingly bright future. Yet, for reasons known only to her, she chose to leave the city and return to their small hometown. Seeing her struggling in a cramped, dilapidated rental, Gu Tan’s heart ached once more, and she took her in.
As their lives became inextricably intertwined, their “taboo” connection began to cross every boundary. Gu Tan initially mistook their intimacy for a simple lack of affection in Shen Yanchuan’s past. By the time she finally realized the truth, she had already fallen too deep to escape.
Later, Shen Yanchuan grew increasingly bold, fueled by Gu Tan’s indulgence, eventually whispering scandalous provocations: “I don’t know how to handle these feelings… Teacher, won’t you teach me?”
