Wang Xinghe picked up a handsome man in front of his shop. The man had broad shoulders, a narrow waist, stood at 189 cm, and was purely and ruggedly handsome. Unfortunately, he had lost his memory.
On top of the amnesia, his behavior was a little strange. He always stood with his back to Wang Xinghe and kept a great distance from him. Although Wang Xinghe was curious, he respected the man’s space.
One day, there was a wedding banquet in their small town, and Wang Xinghe drank a little too much. Bold with alcohol, he approached the man and asked him, “Why do you always turn your back to me?”
Lu Jingze turned around, his dark eyes deep and his voice a little hoarse. “I’m afraid I won’t be able to stop myself…”
Wang Xinghe didn’t understand. “Can’t stop yourself from what?”
Lu Jingze suppressed his emotions. “I’m afraid I won’t be able to stop myself from kissing you.”
Wang Xinghe became lost in those affectionate eyes, shattering his preconceived notions and falling in love with a man for the first time.
They fell madly in love.
Later, Lu Jingze left without saying goodbye, and Wang Xinghe was lost in despair for over a month.
He saw Lu Jingze again in the capital and excitedly called out his name.
Lu Jingze, who had just stepped out of a Rolls-Royce, was cold and distant. “Sir, we don’t know each other. Please do not claim to.”
Wang Xinghe’s heart turned cold as he looked at those emotionless eyes and returned to his town.
He knew the gap between their social statuses was too great and that it was absolutely impossible for them to be together, so he decided to get his life back on track and start anew.
Lu Jingze went crazy, pinning him against a wall, kissing him, and begging for forgiveness over and over again…
The synopsis is a bit weak, but the general idea is a Beijing-based “Crown Prince” who thought he was just playing around but ended up falling hard, versus a seemingly gentle but actually stubborn character. There is a 5-year age difference.
The ‘cremation site’ part only has a tiny, tiny, tiny bit of angst; the rest is sweet.
