Icarus, a half-blood vampire with a sharp mind for business, found his door knocked upon one day by a man named Jinpachi Ego.
Listening to the mushroom-haired man drone on about the “World’s Greatest Striker,” the wealthy Icarus waved a hand with nonchalance: “I’ll invest!”
As the primary financier of the Blue Lock Project, his daily routine consisted of lazily watching fresh, vibrant bodies collide in the heat of competitive sports, witnessing the blossoming beauty of life itself.
Suddenly, one day, Icarus felt a bit thirsty. He took a small nibble out of a passing “Giant Miffy Bunny.” The 1.9-meter-tall Miffy (Nagi Seishiro): “…” (Looking aggrieved)
Feeling deeply apologetic, Icarus decided to switch to someone else for his next meal. The 1.9-meter-tall Miffy: “No. You can’t find anyone else.” Icarus: “…” (First time I’ve ever seen someone so eager to be eaten.)
To save his best friend from a perceived crisis, the young master of the Mikage family (Reo Mikage) rushed to the scene. Only to walk straight into the middle of a rather stimulating dinner. Young Master Mikage: “…” Young Master Mikage: “Let him go. Take me instead.” Icarus: “Well, the more delicious food, the merrier~”
Soon followed a red-haired youth (Chigiri Hyoma), a famous German Blue Rose (Michael Kaiser), and the current World’s Number One Striker (Noel Noa). Icarus: “Why is there more and more food appearing?” And why were these “meals” looking at him with such strange expressions?
