Su Chuiyun has transmigrated into a book. She became the blind villain in a melodramatic dog blood novel she was listening to. She had just planned to chase after the female lead who rejected her confession, but instead, she stepped into thin air, tumbled down the stairs, and ended up both blind and crippled.
In the original book, the villain twisted and turned in her obsessive, distorted love for the female lead, only to meet a tragic end.
After transmigrating, Su Chuiyun cannot see, her legs are encased in plaster, and she has nothing left but her stunning looks. To gather enough money for her medical bills, she immediately seeks out the “cannon fodder” accomplice who used to commit misdeeds with the original host.
Ming Shu, Su Chuiyun’s childhood friend, returned from studying abroad to inherit the family fortune. In the original book, she grew resentful of her “little sister’s” devotion to the female lead and targeted the lead at every turn, eventually meeting a miserable fate.
Su Chuiyun pretends to be affectionate and softens her posture, allowing Ming Shu to regain the adoration they shared in their youth. Her plan is simple: follow the plot, then break up with her.
However, Su Chuiyun didn’t finish listening to the whole story. In the beginning, Ming Shu is humble and submissive toward Su Chuiyun. But in the later stages, she completely claims the heartless little blind childhood friend for herself, curing her eyes only so that she will look at no one but her.
At the end of the corridor, Ming Shu heartbroken after watching Su Chuiyun confess to the female lead, is about to leave in despair. Clutched in her hand is a diamond ring she never got to give. Suddenly, the girl in the wheelchair grabs the corner of her clothes. Her eyes are wrapped in white silk, and she asks weakly: “Sister, do you still want me?”
Ming Shu asks gently, “When you were little, you said you wanted to marry me. Were you serious?” Su Chuiyun hugs her dependently, “I want to be with Sister forever.” Ming Shu caresses the girl’s vacant eyes and smiles, “Forever?”
Su Chuiyun nods eagerly, thinking: As soon as Ming Shu cures my eyes, I’m making a run for it.
Finally, Su Chuiyun regains her sight as she wished. But the moment she opens her eyes, she finds herself in a dark room with a pair of lips brushing against her ear… Wait, this plot… something is wrong!
One-Sentence Summary: She loves me, she loves me so much!
Message: Mutual redemption, mutual understanding, and actively changing the constraints of fate.
