Wang Jinxue is the main antagonist in story “The Chosen Daughter of Heaven”. After the book ends, the female protagonist eliminates her for the greater good. Wang Jinxue’s divine soul drifts to a barrier where she encounters the book itself, finally understanding why she died and why she was constantly outwitted by the protagonist.

In her first rebirth, Wang Jinxue exhausts herself trying to outwit the protagonist, only to be defeated by the protagonist’s aura and meet her demise.
In subsequent rebirths, the second, third, and so on; she is repeatedly defeated by the protagonist’s aura.
During her ninety-ninth rebirth, Wang Jinxue decides to take a circuitous route. She attempts to recruit the protagonist as her disciple in advance, reasoning that not only would the protagonist be unable to oppose her, but she’d also have to show her respect. Yet again, she fails to overcome the protagonist’s aura and meets her demise.
Enraged, Wang Jinxue rips the book to shreds: “Damn you, protagonist aura! I refuse to accept defeat! Come at me! Let’s fight again!”
For the hundredth time, Wang Jinxue reached the same conclusion: the protagonist’s halo was too strong to confront head-on.
Thus, Wang Jinxue racked her brains and decided against a direct confrontation with the female lead. Instead, she would seduce her, possess her, then discard her, shattering her righteous resolve until she longed for death more than life.
But in the end…
