After the Scumbag Alpha Heard her Inner Thoughts - Chapter 49
Shhhk—
The theater lights came on, flooding the room with bright light. Chu Muqing squinted her eyes instinctively. Her hand moved faster than her mind, lifting to shield Su Wanqing’s eyes.
Su Wanqing wasn’t blinded by the sudden brightness. She gently pushed Chu Muqing’s hand away and whispered, “Let’s go.”
Chu Muqing lowered her hand but didn’t let go of Su Wanqing’s. She held her hand tightly as they walked toward the exit.
After leaving the theater, they made their way to the Lan Qing parking garage.
“I feel like you didn’t really enjoy the movie,” Su Wanqing said carefully. “Was it boring?”
“No,” Chu Muqing replied, giving her hand a soft squeeze. “If I’m with you, it’s not boring.”
“Then… how about we do something you like this afternoon?”
Su Wanqing really wanted to make Chu Muqing happy, especially since she didn’t seem particularly excited after the movie.
“You’re sure?” Chu Muqing asked, her voice calm.
“Yes, I’m sure.”
Hearing her answer, Chu Muqing’s lips lifted into a small smile. She didn’t say what she wanted to do — she just picked up her pace a little, almost like she couldn’t wait.
Su Wanqing didn’t know what Chu Muqing was planning, but it was obvious she was in a much better mood.
They got into the car. Su Wanqing glanced at the clock — it was just after 4 p.m. They still had time to go somewhere fun before heading home.
That was what she thought — until she realized the scenery outside was looking more and more familiar. Alarmed, Su Wanqing turned to her.
“This is the road home!”
Weren’t they supposed to be going out?
“Mm. We’re going home first,” Chu Muqing said casually.
But it wasn’t their current home — it was Chu Muqing’s other property: a villa at Dijing Manor.
They weren’t heading back to Ban Gui Manor. Su Wanqing guessed that maybe Chu Muqing needed to grab something.
Rich people sometimes have strange hobbies, she thought.
By now, Dijing Manor didn’t feel so unfamiliar. Su Wanqing skillfully found her way to the door. She pressed her finger to the lock — her fingerprint had already been registered — and the door clicked open.
Not knowing how long they would be staying, Su Wanqing turned to ask, “Will we be here long? If not, I won’t bother changing my shoes.”
“We’ll be here for a while,” Chu Muqing answered.
Hearing that, Su Wanqing bent down to change into indoor slippers — the matching cotton ones they bought last time.
Before she could even straighten up, Chu Muqing suddenly scooped her into her arms.
Startled, Su Wanqing let out a soft yelp as Chu Muqing lifted her and placed her onto the tall shoe cabinet.
Standing between her legs, Chu Muqing stared at her closely.
Su Wanqing’s eyelashes fluttered slightly. She felt confused and nervous. “What’s wrong?”
“Aren’t you going to ask why I brought you here?” Chu Muqing’s voice was low and a little teasing, her fox-like eyes lifting at the corners.
“You…”
Su Wanqing opened her mouth to ask, but seeing their posture now, she wasn’t so innocent — she instantly understood.
“Wait, wait a second,” Su Wanqing said quickly. “I’m not ready.”
“What do you need to prepare?” Chu Muqing asked, one hand slipping around Su Wanqing’s waist, her fingers lightly tracing small circles against her skin. “Didn’t you say you wanted to do what I like today? Are you trying to take it back now?”
The warmth from her fingertips sent tingles racing up Su Wanqing’s spine. She instinctively tried to retreat, but her back was already pressed against the cold wall.
“But… but we haven’t gotten the test results yet,” she said weakly.
“Cheng Zhuo already sent them to me,” Chu Muqing murmured, leaning closer, her lips brushing Su Wanqing’s sensitive ear. “Your glands are perfectly healthy, baby.”
The warm breath at her ear made half of Su Wanqing’s face go numb. A soft, dizzying buzz filled her mind, making her feel weak and helpless.
She didn’t know what was happening to her anymore — only that she seemed to have lost all her strength.
Before, when they had temporarily marked each other, Chu Muqing had already learned where her sensitive spots were.
But today, she wasn’t rushing.
Near the door, there was a bottle of antibacterial hand sanitizer labeled [Non-toxic, Safe for Skin]. Chu Muqing took a small pump and rubbed it between her palms.
Su Wanqing sat frozen, staring at Chu Muqing’s every move. It felt like her soul was trapped in her body — she forgot even to resist.
Chu Muqing’s hands were beautiful. Watching her slowly rub her palms together was almost mesmerizing, like a muse sculpting the most perfect work of art.
The emptiness in Chu Muqing’s arms was once again filled as she pulled Su Wanqing close, pressing a kiss to the corner of her lips, gently licking her soft mouth.
But the hand resting on her waist didn’t behave as it usually did — no, it moved with the sly, skillful touch of a climbing vine, leaving trails wherever it roamed, pausing at every gap it could find.
Wherever her hand brushed, it felt like sparks dropping, quickly setting small fires in their wake.
Not knowing where to put her own hands, Su Wanqing clung to Chu Muqing’s shoulders, her voice trembling slightly as she kept calling her name.
Every soft, breathless call of “Muqing” stirred something deep inside Chu Muqing, making her restless. It felt as if the vine crawling over her carried the scent of roses, sliding through every seam between them.
At one spot, Su Wanqing gasped quietly, and her fingers tightened around Chu Muqing’s shoulders, crumpling the fine, high-end shirt she wore.
Chu Muqing gave her time to adjust, patiently letting her body get used to the sensation, before starting to explore deeper.
She didn’t rush — with every new, unknown place she touched, she moved carefully, slowly learning every reaction.
The shirt was gripped tightly, released, then gripped again. All the while, the only sounds between them were Su Wanqing’s soft, restrained breaths by her ear.
“Good girl,” Chu Muqing murmured, her lips brushing against Su Wanqing’s ear to coax her. “Relax for me.”
Su Wanqing’s mind was foggy. Hearing Chu Muqing’s voice felt like receiving a command — her body obeyed before she even realized it. She took a small, shaky breath and slowly relaxed her tense body.
She didn’t know exactly what Chu Muqing was planning — but by the time she realized it, she had already lost her voice.
Su Wanqing pressed her lips together tightly, trying to hold back the sounds, feeling that this wasn’t right — that she shouldn’t.
Watching her misty, glassy eyes, Chu Muqing couldn’t help but grow mischievous, deliberately slowing down, refusing to give her what she wanted right away.
Su Wanqing bit her lower lip hard. Her pheromones, carrying the strong scent of blooming flowers, overflowed uncontrollably.
Her whole body was weak now. Her hands, once gripping Chu Muqing’s shoulders tightly, slid down and landed limply around Chu Muqing’s waist.
Finally, she couldn’t hold it in anymore. She buried her face into Chu Muqing’s shoulder, her voice trembling and helpless:
“Jiejie… please, have mercy.”
A low chuckle sounded by her ear.
The next second, Su Wanqing felt her body being lifted off the shoe cabinet. Startled, she instinctively wrapped her arms around Chu Muqing’s neck tightly, afraid she might fall.
As they moved, her slippers fell to the floor. Chu Muqing glanced down at her bare, delicate feet — and noticed her toenails, painted a bright, vivid red.
“Let’s take a bath,” Chu Muqing said, setting her down gently on a soft stool inside the bathroom. “Can you manage by yourself?”
“I-I can!” Su Wanqing stammered quickly.
“Or we could do it together?” Chu Muqing teased.
“No way!” Su Wanqing blurted out, her ears burning.
Chu Muqing chuckled but said nothing more. She went to prepare a change of clothes for her.
Su Wanqing sat on the stool for a while to catch her breath, then finally managed to open the shower. Warm water poured over her body, washing away the lingering heat from earlier.
Even though they had finished, her body was still hypersensitive.
When did it get this bad? she thought, cheeks burning. Chu Muqing didn’t even need pheromones to make her melt.
Soaked in the lingering scent of roses, Su Wanqing could feel the warmth gathering at her glands, but she didn’t pay it much attention.
She stayed under the water for a full twenty minutes. After washing and changing into fresh clothes, she stepped out of the bathroom.
Chu Muqing was waiting on the living room sofa, casually flipping through a book.
“You’re done?” Chu Muqing asked, glancing up.
“Mm.”
Maybe it was because of what had just happened between them, but Su Wanqing suddenly felt clingy. She slowly shuffled closer, trailing a faint scent of soap and steam.
She sat down beside Chu Muqing and asked softly, “Did you shower too?”
“Your hair’s already dry,” Chu Muqing said quietly.
Su Wanqing bit her lip and gave a small, soft “Oh.”
“Have you rested enough?” Chu Muqing asked her.
“Are we going out again?” Su Wanqing asked, a little uncertain.
“No,” Chu Muqing said. A faint smile played at her lips as she leaned in closer. “Baby, you didn’t think we were done already, did you?”
A flash of red crossed Chu Muqing’s skin, followed immediately by the surge of her wild rose pheromones. The rich scent flooded the living room, slipping into Su Wanqing’s body through every inch of exposed skin.
After her second differentiation, Su Wanqing was now a properly ranked Omega. Technically, she shouldn’t have been so easily suppressed by another Alpha’s pheromones.
But facing Chu Muqing, she was completely powerless.
The gland at the back of her neck burned hot, and her own pheromones — the soft scent of withering Timi flowers — gushed out uncontrollably.
Chu Muqing had induced her heat.
“Jiejie, you…” Su Wanqing whimpered, her whole body burning. She instinctively wanted to get closer to the Alpha in front of her. Her loose pajamas slid down her shoulder, barely hanging on.
Without hesitation, Chu Muqing lifted her into her arms and carried her toward the bedroom.
There was a grand spiral staircase leading from the first floor to the second. Chu Muqing walked up easily, carrying her without the slightest strain.
She pushed open the bedroom door.
“Baby,” Chu Muqing said softly, “you know what I want to do. If you refuse me now, I’ll go get the inhibitor.”
Su Wanqing clung to her, rubbing her cheek against Chu Muqing’s neck. Her voice was tiny, but clear enough for Chu Muqing to hear:
“Mark me for life.”
Chu Muqing laid her down on the bed and followed, covering her with her own body.
The little bear print on Su Wanqing’s pajamas was quickly wrinkled and stretched out of shape as their bodies pressed together.
Chu Muqing kissed her everywhere, finishing what she had left undone at the door earlier.
An Omega in heat was far more receptive — their bodies fit together with incredible ease. This time, they moved past the teasing and truly started.
—
Neither of them knew how long it lasted.
Su Wanqing felt like an old, creaky machine, making soft, broken noises she couldn’t control.
“Baby, bear with it,” Chu Muqing whispered, her head tilting to gently bite Su Wanqing’s gland.
“Mm!”
“Ha…”
“Ah!”
Her body was no longer her own. Her mind went blank. Like a stranded fish, she could only gasp helplessly, relying on instinct to breathe.
Chu Muqing’s wild rose pheromones poured directly into her gland, blending with the faint scent of Timi flowers until Su Wanqing could feel her own pheromones anchoring to their new home.
A lifetime mark truly was different.
From now on, her body would only respond to Chu Muqing’s scent.
When the marking was over, Su Wanqing lay there panting softly, a thin sheen of sweat covering her skin. Her body still trembled with lingering sensitivity. She dared not move even a little.
Finally, when she regained a bit of strength, Su Wanqing whispered, “Can… can you pull out now?”
“Baby, you’ve got energy again?” Chu Muqing teased gently.
Before Su Wanqing could react, Chu Muqing flipped her over.
Su Wanqing was stunned — even after such a big movement, she still hadn’t pulled out.
Where does she get all that strength?
“Jiejie… no more,” Su Wanqing whimpered, her voice so pitiful it sounded like she might cry. “No more…”
“Be good, baby. Just one last time,” Chu Muqing coaxed.
She released calming pheromones to soothe her, gently patting her shoulder.
Thinking about everything that had just happened, Su Wanqing, dizzy and exhausted, felt that maybe she could manage one last time.
But in truth, you should never believe an Alpha who says “one last time”.
Su Wanqing had no idea how many times it actually was. She had said every soft, pleading word, she could think of — but it didn’t work. At first, Chu Muqing would still coax her a little; later, even those words were kissed away and swallowed between them.
The next thing Su Wanqing remembered clearly was waking up on the third night.
The room was a complete mess.
Chu Muqing stood quietly by the window, her figure outlined by the faint moonlight.
