After Seducing and Abandoning the Untouchable Beauty - Chapter 4
Chapter 4: Inviolable
Before returning to the dormitory, Bai Yinqing paid a visit to the Academic Affairs Office.
After enrollment, the freshman representative needs to prepare a speech in advance and cooperate with the college to film a video. The academic affairs teacher had only given Bai Yinqing a general idea; the specific details, procedures, and forms had not yet been sent to him.
Currently, as it was the peak of freshman enrollment, the Academic Affairs Office was overwhelmed with work. It was normal for them not to notice a DingTalk message immediately.
When Bai Yinqing arrived at the office, unfortunately, it was empty. Upon asking, he learned that the academic teacher was currently in a meeting.
Bai Yinqing had no choice but to return to the dorm first.
The air conditioning was on in the dorm, and the balcony door was tightly shut. As soon as Bai Yinqing opened the door, he smelled a strong scent of crab roe. A portion of crab roe bibimbap sat on each of his three roommates’ desks—no, there were two on Yuan Heyi’s desk.
Bai Yinqing paused slightly, stared at them for a moment, and then returned to his space under his loft bed.
“Bai Yinqing, do you really not want yours?” Yuan Heyi asked, holding an unopened takeout box. “It’s really delicious, and it’s a kind gesture from the Senior…”
Bai Yinqing: “Don’t want it.”
“Oh, okay, then I’ll eat it,” Yuan Heyi said with high emotional intelligence. “Just as well, I have a big appetite, and one portion doesn’t fill me up.”
Bai Yinqing: “As you wish.”
Bai Yinqing did not believe in sudden kindness in this world, nor did he believe in unconditional giving. If a person gives, they must want something in return.
Eating someone’s food makes your mouth soft; taking someone’s things makes your hand short. He would not casually accept items given by others.
Yuan Heyi expected this answer from Bai Yinqing. But he had to ask regardless, otherwise, it would look like he was picking up Bai Yinqing’s leftovers. He only ate this extra portion because he was worried Yu Weinian would be sad.
While eating, Yuan Heyi sighed with emotion: “The Senior is too nice… good-looking, good personality, and excellent. How can there be such a perfect person in this world?”
Ke Ya had already finished. As he slowly packed away the boxes, he said, “The Senior will be coming to deliver our military training uniforms in a bit. Have you guys finished? If so, I’ll take the trash downstairs. Let’s open the window to let the smell out too.”
Ke Ya had a good temper and always helped collect everyone’s trash. Yuan Heyi and Yao Zhou quickly finished the rest of their bibimbap, gathered the trash, and handed it to Ke Ya.
“Thanks,” they both said. “You’re a god-tier roommate.”
Ke Ya smiled, looked at Bai Yinqing, and asked in passing: “Student Bai, do you have any trash to throw away?”
Bai Yinqing: “I’ll throw it away myself.”
An expected rejection. Ke Ya nodded, indicating he understood, and then pushed the door open to leave. It was merely a polite inquiry.
After eating two portions of crab roe bibimbap, Yuan Heyi’s stomach was incredibly full, and he collapsed into his chair like a corpse.
Not long after, there was a knock on the door.
Yao Zhou: “That fast?”
He felt like Ke Ya had just stepped out.
“Did Ke Ya forget his room card?” Yuan Heyi said as he got up to open the door for his roommate.
The door opened, but there was no one at the entrance, nor was there any other sound. Such a scene was simply spine-chilling.
Yuan Heyi looked back into the room and then out at the empty hallway. He spoke tentatively, but there was no response. His goosebumps started to rise. Just as he was about to close the door, a slender, white hand rested on the doorframe, preventing him from shutting it.
Yuan Heyi first saw rounded, full fingernails and delicate, elegant knuckles. Finally, a magnified face appeared; it was Yu Weinian appearing suddenly: “Surprise!”
“Did I scare you?”
The sudden appearance of a living person gave Yuan Heyi a start, making his heart race. He patted his chest with lingering fear: “You really scared me to death. I thought it was a ghost.”
“You need to work on your courage,” Yu Weinian said, a triumphant smile tugging at the corners of his lips. “Is everyone in the dorm? I’ve brought your military training uniforms.”
During the conversation, he cast a subtle glance into the dormitory. If Bai Yinqing hadn’t been there, he wouldn’t have wasted time going in.
Fortunately, Bai Yinqing was there.
The military uniforms were brought into the dorm, and Yu Weinian followed them in.
The uniforms consisted of an inner short-sleeved shirt and an outer jacket. For comfort during the training period, the vast majority of people chose one size larger.
“It’s normal for the pants to be big; just use the belt. The jacket needs to be loose; if it’s too fitted, it’ll be hard to move during training.”
Yu Weinian had fair skin and a good figure; standing there, he was the center of visual attention. Leaning against the wall, he said, “Why don’t you guys try the sizes?”
They were all guys, so there were no taboos about changing clothes. Yuan Heyi and Yao Zhou didn’t even draw the curtains. In the brightly lit room, they stripped off their shirts and pulled the military uniforms on.
Yu Weinian turned his gaze back to Bai Yinqing: “Student Bai, you should try yours too. If the size isn’t right, there’s still time to change it.”
Different from the Yu Weinian seen in the corridor, his collar was now neatly closed, with the buttons fastened to the top—a disciplined way of dressing, unlike his usual loose and casual style, as if he were trying to restrain his entire aura.
However, he had been born with a face that looked like he “played hard,” and this act instead exposed all the information he was trying to hide within those amber eyes.
Yu Weinian’s gaze was unhidden—like a predator’s, carrying a hint of enthusiastic aggression as if Bai Yinqing were the target he was stalking. Bai Yinqing did not like this kind of look.
“Student Bai?” Yu Weinian called out again when he saw Bai Yinqing ignoring him.
Only then did Bai Yinqing respond with a cold tone. He picked up the uniform and walked toward the bathroom. Because of his posture with his back turned, he didn’t see Yu Weinian’s disappointed expression.
I thought I could take the opportunity to inspect the ‘goods.’
Rustling sounds came from the bathroom. Yu Weinian began to look forward to the sight of Bai Yinqing in a military uniform. The uniforms were baggy and shapeless, but Bai Yinqing had a large frame and was tall; he should be able to fill the clothes out.
What would he look like?
As Yu Weinian’s mind drifted, his shoulder suddenly felt heavy. Yuan Heyi had already changed into his uniform and was leaning half his body weight on Yu Weinian’s shoulder with a grin: “Senior, look at this, am I handsome?”
Yu Weinian took a moment to look at Yuan Heyi: “You’ll be more handsome if you fasten your belt properly.”
Yuan Heyi’s looks and physique were quite good; he was a natural clothes-hanger. But he was a careless and casual person, and his belt was loosely fastened, giving him a bit of a “don’t-care” vibe. Hearing this, Yuan Heyi hurriedly adjusted his belt and eagerly showed the result to Yu Weinian: “How about now?”
“Quite good,” Yu Weinian said casually. Seeing Yuan Heyi’s high level of execution, he found it a bit funny: “You’re so obedient.”
Yu Weinian’s voice returned to its usual tone—the ending sounds slightly drawn out, his eyes lazy and smiling. A simple sentence was made to sound incredibly thick and syrupy by him. It wasn’t that he was intentionally flirting; that was just his habitual, unconventional way of speaking.
Regardless, Yuan Heyi was 100% straight. It was only these “one-track-mind” straight guys who would touch and lean on people for no reason while grinning.
A sound came from the bathroom.
The door was pushed open, and a tall silhouette appeared in the field of vision against the light, his face slowly becoming three-dimensional and clear.
Yu Weinian suddenly stood up straight.
It had to be said that Bai Yinqing was truly a person who grew exactly on his aesthetic preferences.
A high nose, deep eyes, a sharp jawline, and an expressionless face. Standing there with his height and long legs, the baggy military uniform was filled out by his tall frame, making it look like a piece of “do-not-approach” asceticism.
As soon as Bai Yinqing stepped out of the bathroom, he garnered multiple gazes. His expression remained unchanged: “The uniform is too small. I filled in 4XL, but this is a 2XL.”
A 2XL military uniform is suitable for a height of 175cm-180cm. Since Bai Yinqing was tall, the jacket was loose enough that he could barely wear it, but it was still a good bit too small.
“Hmm?” Yu Weinian snapped out of it a beat late. Only then did he notice that the sleeves and pant legs were clearly too short.
Yu Weinian pushed Yuan Heyi aside and slowly walked toward Bai Yinqing. Although he knew Bai Yinqing was tall, every time he stood in front of him, the oncoming sense of pressure was very intense.
“Maybe the person in charge took the wrong one,” he said, lifting his chin. “Since the uniform is too small, why are you still wearing it?”
Bai Yinqing looked at Yu Weinian silently, his expression still cold, only moving his eyelashes very slightly.
After a long pause, he finally spoke: “The zipper is broken.”
Yu Weinian was stunned. He looked at the seemingly intact zipper before reacting: “Is the zipper stuck? Let me see.”
Before Bai Yinqing could refuse, Yu Weinian had already reached out to help. He was half a head shorter than Bai Yinqing. Because he was adjusting the zipper with his head lowered, he had to bow his head slightly.
From a top-down perspective, Bai Yinqing could clearly see a section of a slender, snow-white neck. Beneath the thin skin was a fragile artery; blue veins meandered, radiating a heat full of vitality.
Close. Too close. It far exceeded the distance a normal social interaction should have; he could even smell the faint, lingering fragrance on Yu Weinian’s body.
Bai Yinqing frowned; this was a social scale he could not tolerate. Just as he was about to reach out and push him away, Yu Weinian successfully unjammed the zipper.
Ssssrrip— The zipper slid smoothly to the bottom. Yu Weinian looked up again, his watery gaze colliding with a cold, wary look.
Yu Weinian let go: “A 2XL is indeed a bit small for you. I’ll go get you a new one.”
On the first floor of the dormitory.
Several student officers were helping to exchange military uniforms. Every year during training, some people would fill in the wrong size and need to swap later.
“4XL, right? Senior, I’ll get it for you…”
Yu Weinian stopped them with a smile: “It’s fine, you guys keep busy. Give it to me when you’re done.”
He found an empty seat and sat down, idly scrolling through his phone. When the student officers became a bit less busy, he walked over.
Yu Weinian took the uniform: “I ordered drinks for you guys; they’ll be here soon. On such a hot day, thanks for your hard work.”
“Senior, you’re too good!”
Yu Weinian only smiled. He noticed an unopened bottle of mineral water nearby: “Can I borrow a bottle of water?”
The student naturally didn’t refuse.
Yu Weinian unfastened the button at his collar, twisted the cap off the mineral water, and tilted the bottle. He poured it into his palm and flicked his fingers to splash water onto his face and body, especially on his forehead and collarbone area.
Transparent droplets flowed down his neck; some soaked into his hair and clung to the side of his neck, while others gathered in the hollows of his collarbones.
The elevator was empty, but Yu Weinian chose the stairs.
He climbed seven flights of stairs on foot. Once a thin blush from the exercise surfaced on his cheeks, he leisurely entered the elevator lobby.
The dormitory door was pushed open again.
“Luckily I was in luck; the 4XL uniforms were almost gone.”
Beads of sweat gathered at the base of his long, curled eyelashes, trembling and falling with his uneven breathing. Yu Weinian smiled at Bai Yinqing. “Student Bai, try this to see if it fits.”
This was the scene Bai Yinqing and the others saw.
Yu Weinian was panting. His collar had come undone at some point, revealing a large area of thin collarbones shimmering with moisture. His fair face was flushed, and his hair was damp with sweat, clinging to his skin in clumps.
The natural light in the dorm fell on his face. He panted slightly as he handed the military uniform to Bai Yinqing.
Bai Yinqing took the uniform in silence. Even with a heart of cold blood, seeing Yu Weinian busy himself for his sake and getting into such a disheveled state, he couldn’t help but feel complex emotions.
“Sorry for the trouble,” he said.
Yu Weinian was calm on the surface, but inwardly he was overjoyed—this trick worked. Did the cold, unapproachable “flower on a high peak” actually prefer a soft approach to a hard one?
“No trouble at all.” He straightened his expression, looking every bit like a warm-hearted person. “Student Bai, hurry and try it on. The uniform sizes run large. If the 4XL doesn’t fit, I’ll go change it again for you.”
Bai Yinqing wanted to say it wasn’t necessary and that he could go change it himself. He was used to solving everything on his own, didn’t like troubling others, and hated it even more when others troubled him.
He had met many people who wanted to befriend him, but no one liked getting a cold shoulder. No matter how enthusiastic they were at first, as long as they received his cold face a few times, these people would always give up quickly.
But Yu Weinian had not given Bai Yinqing a chance to refuse. Yu Weinian urged him to change his uniform, so he could only go to the bathroom to try it on.
Not long after, Bai Yinqing stepped out of the bathroom.
His expression was still cold, his steps composed. After putting on a well-fitting military uniform and fastening the belt at his waist, the advantages of his wide shoulders and narrow waist were even more apparent.
“It’s the same uniform, but why does it look so different on you?” Yuan Heyi chimed in. “Really handsome.”
This was also what Yu Weinian wanted to say. He gazed at Bai Yinqing until Bai Yinqing walked in front of him.
“The size is very suitable,” Bai Yinqing said. “Thank you.”
To say thank you with such an ascetic, inviolable face was truly sexy. Yu Weinian raised his eyebrows slightly: “As long as it fits.”
Although Yu Weinian tried his best to hide it, his aggressive, predator-like signal was still detected by Bai Yinqing. He felt extremely uncomfortable and offended by this gaze.
But the flush and sweat on Yu Weinian’s cheeks made him reconsider; perhaps his feeling was wrong.
Bai Yinqing gave an acknowledging sound and prepared to return to the bathroom to change out of the uniform. Just as he was about to turn his back, Yu Weinian’s voice came from behind: “Wait.”
Yu Weinian, standing in front of him, suddenly hooked his finger into Bai Yinqing’s belt and pulled with unexpected force. Caught off guard, Bai Yinqing was pulled toward Yu Weinian. The boundary of normal social distance was once again narrowed and broken.
The handsome, cold face first froze and then showed clear signs of anger. Bai Yinqing stood up straight, but before he could pull away, slender, white fingers were wedged into the loose belt.
Warm body temperature and a delicate touch were transmitted to his skin through the coarse fabric. Bai Yinqing’s lower abdomen suddenly tightened, as if his lifeline had been seized; his entire body froze in place.
There was a feeling of pulling at his waist. Bai Yinqing lowered his gaze. Yu Weinian was adjusting his belt for him. He had never been this close to anyone before and didn’t dare move an inch.
But strangely, he didn’t feel a strong sense of repulsion; it might be because Yu Weinian had such a good-looking face.
The buckle was opened, and Yu Weinian gently reached out and gave it a tug, causing the belt to tighten suddenly. Bai Yinqing’s breathing was abruptly disrupted. He looked up and blinked slowly: “Sorry, I didn’t control my strength.”
Bai Yinqing’s silence made Yu Weinian even bolder. He no longer looked down but stared straight at Bai Yinqing while helping him adjust the belt.
“Now it fits.”
Click. The belt buckle was fastened.
Yu Weinian noticed that Bai Yinqing’s collar was a bit folded. He reached out his hand, and before he could touch the collar, his warm body temperature, carrying a fragrance, brushed past Bai Yinqing’s Adam’s apple.
Smack—
With a sharp reaction, Bai Yinqing slapped Yu Weinian’s hand away. A red mark suddenly appeared on the back of the snow-white hand.
“Yu Weinian.” Bai Yinqing’s gaze held not a shred of warmth as he warned, “Don’t get this close to me.”
“And don’t touch me casually.”
He had thought the conquest was progressing smoothly, but it turned out this was all an illusion. Yu Weinian knew when to stop: “Sorry, my fault. It won’t happen again.”
Yu Weinian had helped with good intentions, only to receive such cold words. In the eyes of an outsider, Bai Yinqing was truly ungrateful.
Beside them, Ke Ya couldn’t watch any longer. He said softly, “Student Bai just doesn’t like contact with people; he didn’t mean any harm. Senior, don’t think too much of it…”
“I know, of course, that Student Bai meant no harm.” Yu Weinian expressed his understanding. Seeing Bai Yinqing looking over, he even blinked slowly.
Bai Yinqing entered the bathroom without looking back.
It was hard to describe his current mood. He didn’t even need to lower his head to smell the faint fragrance belonging to Yu Weinian on his body; the whole scene was indescribably strange.
His phone vibrated, and the screen lit up. Bai Yinqing changed back into his regular clothes and unlocked his phone. It was a reply from the Academic Affairs teacher.
— Did you not receive the notification? The forms and list of precautions have been sent to your student mentor, Yu Weinian. He will be handling the coordination with you. Remember to contact him and ask him to add you to the WeChat group. All future notifications will be sent uniformly in the WeChat group.
Bai Yinqing: “…”
He had not only failed to approve Yu Weinian’s friend request but had also deleted the addition notification. Even if he wanted to approve it now, he couldn’t.
Bai Yinqing went out after changing. Yu Weinian was leaning bonelessly against the back of a chair, sitting casually and chatting happily with his roommates. Hearing the door move, the three people in the dorm looked at him simultaneously.
Yu Weinian checked the time; it was about time: “If there’s nothing else, I’ll be going now.”
Bai Yinqing looked at Yu Weinian.
Yao Zhou: “So soon? Won’t Senior stay a bit longer?”
“You guys got up early today; you definitely didn’t sleep well.” Yu Weinian hung the military uniform over his arm, the back of his hand still red. He stood up to head out. “I won’t disturb your rest.”
Yu Weinian placed his hand on the doorknob, silently counting three, two…
Before the countdown reached zero, a cold male voice sounded behind him.
“Senior, wait a moment.”
Truly rare. It was rare to see Bai Yinqing so politely and proactively call him “Senior.” Yu Weinian was almost ready to weep with joy.
He turned his head slightly and looked at Bai Yinqing with a friendly sort of kindness, asking a question he already knew the answer to: “Is there anything else, Student Bai?”
