Yan Yi was prepared to withdraw after completing his missions, but he was suddenly informed that every single one had ended in failure. To rectify the timeline, he must return to those original worlds to save the tragic villains once more. However, he soon discovers a terrifying change because every one of them has transformed into an obsessive and paranoid madman.
In the first world, Yan Yi encounters a wheelchair-bound villain who is beautiful and mature, yet unable to walk. Yan Yi acted with a soft and innocent demeanor to change the man’s fate, only to have the villain eventually pin him against the wall with a look of pure madness in his eyes.
In the second world, a sullen specter with a bewitching appearance and an unpredictable temperament wrapped his cold energy around Yan Yi’s neck and whispered, “My dear, why can you not look only at me?”
The third world features a young master suffering from Pheromone Deficiency Syndrome. Although he was initially dismissive of a political marriage with Yan Yi, he later pleaded with bloodshot eyes for Yan Yi to mark him, driven into a deeper state of paranoid obsession by his inability to be marked easily. In the fourth world, a refined scholar with severe skin hunger lured Yan Yi into his room with a dangerous smile to ensure they were never apart.
The fifth world follows a sickly prince born during a drought who was considered an ill omen. While he appeared elegant to the public, Yan Yi knew the morbid ambition hidden beneath that mask.
After Yan Yi helped him ascend the throne, the new Emperor became entirely dependent on him and declared that Yan Yi would never escape him in this life or the last. In the sixth world, a scandal-ridden actor who had become a national laughingstock no longer cared for fame after Yan Yi saved him. He only wanted Yan Yi and was willing to use any means necessary to keep him.
In the seventh world, a cold Immortal detached from human emotion forged demon-binding chains to restrain a blood-stained demon. As he licked the blood from the demon’s mouth, he promised to find his disciple in every lifetime for all eternity.
Finally, the eighth world introduces a manipulative little zombie with hidden, dark intentions.
Yan Yi spent half the night trying to understand how these men regained their memories and why they had all become black-bellied and determined to keep him by their side.
