Chu Xi has it all stunning looks and an excellent family background. Although he has a never-ending stream of admirers, he has never actually been in a relationship. He fell in love with Zhou Jinyan at first sight and, after a year of secret pining, finally managed to move into his dormitory.
Chu Xi prepares to launch a full-scale seduction campaign to make Zhou Jinyan fall for him. Acting spoiled, holding hands, going on dates, sending suggestive photos… he “fishes” and teases relentlessly until Zhou Jinyan finally begins to sink into the depths of passion.

After a day of internal struggle, Zhou Jinyan decides to follow his instincts: Kiss him first and talk later. After all, “the one who isn’t loved is the outsider.” Even if he has to be the “third wheel” to snatch him away, it’s a match made in heaven.
Looking at the obedient and clingy Chu Xi, Zhou Jinyan begins to ponder: How can I get Chu Xi to break up with that boyfriend of his?
Zhou Jinyan successfully “usurps” the position of the boyfriend, and the two quickly fall into a passionate relationship. However, Chu Xi begins to feel that Zhou Jinyan’s possessiveness is a bit too intense.
After yet another round of irrational jealousy from Zhou Jinyan, Chu Xi finally loses his patience. But before he can say anything, his words are silenced by one of Zhou Jinyan’s kisses.
Dazed from the kiss, Chu Xi finally hears Zhou Jinyan ask in a husky voice: “Baby, why haven’t you broken up with your boyfriend yet? Zhou Jinyan presses against his cheek: “When can I finally be promoted from ‘the other man’ to your official partner?” Chu Xi hesitates: “…Wait, since when did I have an extra boyfriend?!
Only later does Zhou Jinyan discover that he was the “boyfriend” he had been trying to “eliminate” all along.
