After Flirting with the God-Tier Beautiful Tycoon - Chapter 22
“Now, do you want to wait in my dorm for a while?” Shen Xiaojiang felt a little uneasy with every word she spoke due to her nervousness.
Chen Yi’s eyes looked somewhat empty.
Unconsciously, she nodded.
The dorm door was locked, and Shen Xiaojiang wasn’t sure if anyone was inside.
She awkwardly said to the person behind her, “Wait a moment, let me find the key.”
“Mm, but,” Chen Yi stood half a meter behind Shen Xiaojiang, her voice gentle and tender, “Will it be inconvenient?”
“What’s inconvenient about it?” Shen Xiaojiang took out the key and showed it to Chen Yi, “We’re all girls.”
Chen Yi’s gaze shifted slightly.
Since being called “Seventh Master” by others, she seemed to no longer be a girl in her circle maybe a woman, or maybe not.
Her relatives called her a temptress.
Her opponents called her a fox.
Her partners called her a machine.
Old Master Bai said she was a sharp, soft knife that killed without a trace.
So, what exactly she was, she couldn’t say for sure.
Shen Xiaojiang turned the key, and the door opened.
The light inside the room was dim.
No one was there.
Shen Xiaojiang secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
This way, Chen Yi wouldn’t have to feel awkward.
And neither would she…
She quickly turned around and made a gesture of “please come in.”
Chen Yi let out a muffled chuckle, then slowly walked inside.
Sun Jiabao’s half-eaten bag of potato chips was on her desk, and Chen Xingnan’s shoes were messily piled by the ladder.
The most ordinary dorm scene looked particularly strange today.
Chen Yi was very polite, even a little reserved.
“Ah, I’m sorry, the dorm is a bit messy.” With that, Shen Xiaojiang tossed Sun Jiabao’s potato chips into the trash can and kicked Chen Xingnan’s shoes under the desk.
Chen Yi watched her actions but didn’t say anything, always maintaining a faint smile.
Shen Xiaojiang roughly tidied up and pulled out her chair. “Please sit.”
Chen Yi nodded. “Is this your spot?”
Shen Xiaojiang scratched the back of her head and smiled. “Yes, I have a lot of stuff, but don’t worry, it’s not dirty.”
After speaking, she deliberately moved her laptop on the desk to the side.
“Mm,” Chen Yi didn’t look at the desk but at Shen Xiaojiang’s face reflected in the vanity mirror. “Very clean.”
Shen Xiaojiang certainly wouldn’t know what kind of look Chen Yi was giving her at that moment.
“Oh, our dorm is out of filtered water, but I have yogurt, do you want some?” Shen Xiaojiang bustled about, excited as if she were bringing out her best to treat a guest.
Chen Yi never drank yogurt; she disliked the sticky texture.
But hearing it from Shen Xiaojiang, it sounded delicious.
She nodded and hummed in agreement.
Shen Xiaojiang took out a translucent storage box from under the cupboard and found the yogurt strawberry flavored.
She really does like strawberry-flavored things, Chen Yi thought.
Shen Xiaojiang straightened up and placed the yogurt bottle in front of Chen Yi.
A gust of wind swept through, carrying a trace of coolness.
“I’ll close the window,” Shen Xiaojiang said, turning and heading toward the balcony. “It wasn’t raining when I left this morning.”
Chen Yi stared at the yogurt bottle for a few seconds, then glanced at Shen Xiaojiang’s back as she reached up to close the window.
Shen Xiaojiang was tall, but the window handle was even higher, making it difficult to reach.
This unreasonable design had been complained about for years.
The curtain was caught by the wind, partially obscuring Shen Xiaojiang.
Her slender figure appeared and disappeared behind the fabric.
With a “bang,” the window was closed.
The curtain slowly dropped down.
Shen Xiaojiang reappeared from behind the fabric.
Due to the upward movement of her arms, a stretch of pale, exposed waist was revealed.
Delicate skin, deep dimples on her back, and sexy ab lines.
Chen Yi’s gaze naturally fell there.
Then, as if she had been burned, she abruptly looked away.
“Luckily there’s a balcony outside, otherwise the dorm would get soaked…” Shen Xiaojiang said as she walked over.
To ease the awkwardness, Chen Yi casually picked up the yogurt bottle.
She twisted it hard, but couldn’t open it.
She looked at the cap in confusion, feeling a little ashamed and annoyed.
“Do you need help?” Shen Xiaojiang asked.
Chen Yi looked at the slender fingers reaching out to her and didn’t want to refuse.
“Ah ha, this cap isn’t twisted, actually there’s a small mechanism,” Shen Xiaojiang bent over, holding the yogurt bottle to demonstrate to Chen Yi. “See, there’s a notch here.”
“Click”
The bottle cap opened.
Chen Yi’s gaze moved away from the yogurt bottle cap, slowly lifting to sweep over Shen Xiaojiang’s face, ears, and her dark, smooth long hair.
Shen Xiaojiang finished speaking and instinctively looked at Chen Yi.
A flash of lightning suddenly streaked across the window, and the pale light illuminated the other person’s face. Chen Yi was like a white flower drenched in rain, seeming sensually moist.
Time froze; the wind stopped, and the rain ceased.
Chen Yi narrowed her eyes slightly, raised her hand to take the yogurt bottle, and instinctively leaned a little closer to Shen Xiaojiang, narrowing the distance between them.
Shen Xiaojiang dared not move, speak, even think, or breathe.
She was afraid that everything in front of her was a dream that would instantly vanish.
Chen Yi’s breath was very close, and the fragrance on her body grew richer and intoxicating.
“Shen Xiaojiang?” Chen Yi’s lips were not very full but had a nice texture, coated in a slightly blue-toned lipstick that was exceedingly glamorous and beautiful.
Her face was truly small, and the pair of eyes that could look deep into one’s soul seemed magnified several times on her face.
Perhaps it was the makeup, but Chen Yi’s face was flawless like white porcelain, with not a single pore visible.
The back of Shen Xiaojiang’s neck was faintly hot.
She dazedly uttered, “Mm,” with her voice trailing upward.
Chen Yi curved her beautiful phoenix eyes, and a ripple of a smile spread across her face.
“Yogurt.” Her words were soft, thin as a cicada’s wing.
“Oh oh, right… I’m sorry, I was just…” Shen Xiaojiang’s tongue was tied in a knot, stammering.
She straightened up and leaned against the wardrobe behind her.
Chen Yi also stood up and took a step toward Shen Xiaojiang, the distance so close that Shen Xiaojiang could see a tiny version of herself in the other person’s pupils.
“What were you just thinking?” she asked.
Shen Xiaojiang’s heart was pounding in her throat, making breathing difficult. She was more nervous than waiting for her exam results.
“I, I, I…” She didn’t know what to say.
Suddenly, loud, swearing voices rang out from outside the door.
It was Sun Jiabao and Chen Xingnan.
Shen Xiaojiang shuddered. “They… they’re back.”
Chen Yi: “…”
Shen Xiaojiang stumbled, using her hands to brace herself on the ladder. Her usual problem of feeling light headed and unable to walk when seeing a beautiful woman struck again.
Just as she reached the door, Chen Yi caught up to her.
Suddenly, a hand rested on Shen Xiaojiang’s shoulder.
Chen Yi’s grip was slightly strong. With a swift turn, Shen Xiaojiang’s back hit the door.
A muffled sound was heard.
Chen Yi’s face was even closer than before, close enough to kiss.
Unsure if it was nervousness, fear, or some other emotion, Shen Xiaojiang’s face flushed crimson.
This was the first time she had been this close to anyone.
Shen Xiaojiang touched Chen Yi’s dress it was a very silky fabric.
Was the skin under the dress also this smooth?
Shen Xiaojiang shook her head abruptly, feeling ashamed for having such a thought.
“You,” Chen Yi raised her hand and pressed the door lock. Her fragrant hair brushed past Shen Xiaojiang’s ear and neck. “What were you just thinking?”
Shen Xiaojiang swallowed, the “gulp” of her dry throat deafening.
The spot where Chen Yi’s hair had brushed her felt prickly and ticklish.
“Tell me.” Chen Yi’s voice came low, carrying a husky, seductive quality.
Her gaze fell on Shen Xiaojiang’s lips. Her hand retreated from the door lock and rested in front of her, separated from Shen Xiaojiang’s hand by the thickness of a sheet of paper.
“I didn’t bring my key, Chen Xingnan, did you bring yours?” Outside the door, Sun Jiabao’s voice grew closer. The sound of their footsteps was like the Sword of Damocles hanging over Shen Xiaojiang’s head.
Ready to fall at any moment and cut her into pieces.
“Clap clap clap” Sun Jiabao knocked hard on the door, simultaneously telling Chen Xingnan next to her, “Ginger can’t possibly be in the dorm at this hour. Liu Wei doesn’t seem to be here either. What should we do?”
“Don’t panic, baby. I think I brought my key.” Chen Xingnan unzipped her backpack.
“Who are you calling baby? Don’t call me that, it’s disgusting!” Sun Jiabao said.
Chen Xingnan smiled without a word, her gentleness reaching her eyes.
Soon, the sound of a key could be heard from the other side of the door.
Just then, Shen Xiaojiang raised both hands and gently gripped Chen Yi’s upper arms.
Chen Yi disliked being touched, but Shen Xiaojiang was different from everyone else.
She didn’t resist Shen Xiaojiang’s sudden action.
Outside the door, Chen Xingnan’s key was already inserted into the lock. The sound of the tumbler turning was infinitely magnified.
Chen Yi paused slightly, watching Shen Xiaojiang release her hands and turn her back to her.
The dorm door was opened from the inside.
Chen Xingnan, holding the doorknob, stumbled and leaned forward, almost bumping into Shen Xiaojiang.
“Move, move! What the Ginger, you’re actually in the dorm?! Why didn’t you turn on the lights?” Sun Jiabao pushed Chen Xingnan aside and quickly jumped in front of Shen Xiaojiang. “Look, look, I brought your favorite bursting chicken cutlet!”
As her vision cleared, Sun Jiabao saw the person behind Shen Xiaojiang.
“Auntie?!”
