“I can’t take any more… stop, I was wrong…” Shen Jin choked out between sobs, desperately trying to spit out the medicine in his mouth.
“Swallow it, quickly,” the man coaxed patiently. “If you take the medicine with a candy, it won’t be bitter anymore. Do you want one?”
Choking back tears from the bitterness of the pills, Shen Jin nodded aggressively. “I want it… give it to me…”
The man popped a candy into his mouth. “That’s a good boy.”
Shen Jin’s head felt dizzy and heavy. He swayed slightly, murmuring like a child, “It’s still bitter… I want more candy…”
The man placed a candy in his own mouth, then leaned down to kiss those soft lips. “Be good. I’ll feed you.”
Shen Jin approached that handsome and wealthy man with a hidden agenda. By the time he was held fast in the man’s possessive embrace, he wanted to escape—but it was already too late.
