After Falling for the Handsome CEO - Chapter 3
Chapter 3: A Deeper Touch
Shen Jin’s face flushed. His dull eyes darted around frantically, the colorful lights of the club reflecting in his clear gaze, creating an exceptionally vivid shimmer.
Yan Yu took in every bit of his reaction. Narrowing his phoenix eyes, he gave the boy’s ear an ambiguous kiss and rasped, “Baby, are you interested in a… deeper touch?”
Shen Jin froze, fully understanding his meaning.
This means I’ve succeeded, right? So the next step is…
Having never set foot in this territory before, Shen Jin began to feel uneasy. To hide his emotions, he could only resort to chugging his drink.
Yan Yu was amused by his actions. His hands wandered provocatively across Shen Jin’s chest as he leaned in to kiss the boy’s already reddened neck. “You’ve been peeking at me for so long,” he teased in a low voice. “Don’t tell me you don’t want to?”
“You…” Shen Jin was instantly choked by his cocktail. After a few fits of dry coughing, he looked at Yan Yu awkwardly and whispered, “You… you knew I was looking at you?”
“…” Yan Yu noticed the boy’s lips were wet from the drink, a shade of red that made one desperate to take a bite. Instead, he simply rubbed the boy’s lip with a gentle thumb and smiled. “Of course. When a stunning creature like you stares for that long, how could I not know?”
“Oh…” Shen Jin responded, his voice lacking confidence. It made sense when he thought about it, but he couldn’t help muttering, “I thought you didn’t notice.”
Yan Yu teased, “Fine. If you don’t want me to know, then I’ll pretend I didn’t.”
Tense as he was, Shen Jin couldn’t help but chuckle at that simple remark. He offered a sincere, unreserved compliment: “You’re so gentle.”
This caught Yan Yu off guard. For a moment, a wave of complicated emotions surged in his eyes. He picked up his cocktail and took a sip, choosing not to continue the topic of his “gentleness.”
Yan Yu thought to himself: In this world of debauchery and vanity, a youth who knows nothing of the world has suddenly blundered in.
It made his pulse race; it made him want to bully him even more…
He pulled Shen Jin halfway into his arms. From this close, he could smell the faint, fresh scent of shower gel on the boy. It was very pleasant.
…He thought to himself: This is different from the lingering fragrance on Xie Li.
Shen Jin remained in a wooden, dazed state, letting himself be held. He stole an uneasy glance at the man, only to find Yan Yu smiling at him. In a voice meant only for the two of them, the man said, “Let’s find somewhere else, shall we?”
Perhaps it was because those smiling eyes were too gentle, or perhaps because that husky, low voice was so pleasant to the ear, but Shen Jin found himself inexplicably immersed. He leaned a little closer in a daze. “Okay…”
Yan Yu gave a satisfied smile. He told the staff to put the tab on his account, then took Shen Jin by the waist and led him through the colorful corridors, intending to leave.
Ji Nuo, his “fair-weather friend” who was fooling around and drinking nearby, perked up the moment he saw Yan Yu leaving with a youth in his arms. “Whoa, your taste has changed this time. Planning to try out this variety?”
Shen Jin didn’t know how to handle the situation. He could only keep his head down, avoiding the other man’s scrutinizing gaze.
“Why are you staring at him like that? You’re going to scare him.” Yan Yu flashed a smile at Ji Nuo, then gently rubbed the waist of the stiff person in his arms. “We’re off.”
Shen Jin could only nod blankly, letting the man lead him out by the waist. He followed passively into the parking lot and climbed into the car.
Seeing him sitting there so timidly, staring straight ahead like a block of wood, his nervousness was exposed for all to see.
Yan Yu was very pleased with this reaction. He chuckled, leaned over, and kissed the corner of the boy’s mouth. “You’re so cute.”
…
…
The night continued, and the watery moonlight shrouded the bustling city.
Yan Yu drove out of the parking lot to a hotel he managed. He carried the slightly curled-up figure from the car up to a room.
Shen Jin asked somewhat dazedly, “Why are we coming to a hotel…”
Yan Yu laughed. “I’m afraid if you get too wild later, people might hear you.”
Shen Jin was instantly mortified. He stammered, trying to defend himself, but after stuttering for a long time, he couldn’t get a word out. By then, Yan Yu had already carried him into the pre-booked room.
The next morning, Shen Jin’s pleasant dream was disturbed by the harsh sunlight from the window. He opened his bleary eyes, still half-asleep and disoriented. He wasn’t quite sure where he was or what had happened the night before.
He tried to turn over, only to hiss as he sucked in a breath of cold air from the pain.
The pain brought him back to full consciousness. He realized where he was and what he had done. It felt like a ridiculous dream, making it hard to distinguish reality from fantasy.
The man who had spent the night with him was already gone.
Left on the bedside table was a check for 100,000 yuan and a phone number.
For some reason, Shen Jin felt a sense of loss. His heart felt heavy, and looking at the empty space beside him on the bed, he felt a twinge of sadness.
He thought: Why did he leave so early? He could have at least woken me up… just so I could see him one more time…
