Ji Jin smiled playfully, defending herself: “What’s so good about marriage? Has your desire for control flared up again, A-Xiu? That’s not a good habit, you know.”

Yun Chuxiu fell silent for a moment and decided it was time to let each other go.
However, only a day after he began distancing himself, his girlfriend showed up at his door, launching a frantic barrage of questions: “Why didn’t you reply to my messages?” “Are you mad at me? I can change…” “If you don’t reply today, you’ll turn off location sharing tomorrow, and by the day after, are you just going to throw me away?” “I just said I didn’t want to get married, I never said I wanted to break up!”

Ji Jin began to waver. Then… after being intercepted yet again while trying to pick him up, Ji Jin reached her breaking point. She decided to completely swallow her previous pride: “Marriage! Let’s go get married right now!”
Yun Chuxiu’s fingers paused on the handle of his umbrella. Standing in the rain, he raised an eyebrow slightly and gently patted her head. “Oh,” he said softly. “You were right. Not getting married is actually quite nice. I don’t want to anymore.”
