After Being Used As A Substitute By A Scumbag Alpha - Chapter 3
The two of them ended up together just like that.
The first time it ended, Zhongli Tang couldn’t control herself. She gripped Qin Wei’s throat and marked her in a frenzy. Her long suppressed ocean pheromones finally found an outlet, surging with such uncontrollable excitement that the situation nearly spiraled out of hand.
At first, Qin Wei tried to resist slightly, but such strength was negligible before an Alpha. Soon, a new round of marking began. This time, she learned to be submissive, proactively hugging and kissing her.
The essence of an Omega is obedience, especially in the face of a high-level Alpha’s pheromones; they possess no power to speak of.
Perhaps provoked into losing her mind by the Ebony pheromones, or perhaps stimulated by the look in Qin Wei’s eyes, Zhongli Tang felt a hint of surprise when looking back on it later. The Zhong family upbringing was exceptionally strict, she had always avoided touching Omegas of unknown origin. Even during the peak of her relationship with Xu Sui, she had never done anything out of line.
Qin Wei was a special exception, and for that, Qin Wei paid a significant price.
Throughout the process, Qin Wei appeared like a fish in water. Her body was terrifyingly soft, her actions thick with the intent to seduce. Zhongli Tang couldn’t understand where a student had learned such tricks, could it have been in a classroom? Since the other party seemed “battle hardened,” she had no reservations about being heavy-handed.
This resulted in an injury to the Omega’s gland.
When it was over, Qin Wei’s face was deathly pale. She spent three days in the hospital on an IV drip. A bleeding gland and pheromone disorder, each was a form of torture for an Omega. The doctors didn’t even need an exam to diagnose it with the naked eye, but they were intimidated by Zhongli Tang and didn’t dare say much. The gland is delicate, it took half a month for the wound to scab, and she didn’t fully recover until three months later.
Zhongli Tang settled the medical bills and went to her assistant. The assistant was efficient, obtaining Qin Wei’s full profile in less than half an hour.
Qin Wei, 21 years old.
- Abandoned at age three and grew up in an orphanage.
- Adopted by Dr. Qin’s family at age six.
- Abandoned again at age seventeen.
- Admitted to the Medical Department of Capital University.
Zhongli Tang scanned her early life indifferently. What caught her eye was the latter half, during her time at school, Qin Wei had won more awards than could fit on a single page.
Truly, a “good student.”
The lingering scent of Ebony pheromones had not yet faded. Zhongli Tang instinctively looked at Qin Wei; the girl was staring back at her, looking weak and powerless, her eyes filled with dependence.
Zhongli Tang compromised. If there were things she was destined to have, why resist? She wanted a pheromone substitute, a plaything to vent her various emotions and Qin Wei needed a benefactor. Whether it was for money or power, her future would be secure from then on.
From a merchant’s perspective, this was a fair trade, yet entirely unfair, because all the power of initiative rested in Zhongli Tang’s hands.
Qin Wei hardly hesitated. With trembling fingertips, she signed her name on the agreement.
“I’ll come find you when I have time.”
From then on, as a substitute, Qin Wei was beyond qualified. She endured the brunt of Zhongli Tang’s retaliation against Xu Sui. Zhongli Tang loved seeing Qin Wei in unbearable pain, she would find every way possible to make Qin Wei cry. Although her features didn’t resemble Xu Sui’s, Zhongli Tang could use her imagination, which only made her angrier and more excited.
No amount of “Ebony” could easily accept the turbulent moods of the “Ocean.”
Qin Wei would refuse, crying and screaming in pain, but later she learned self-restraint, gritting her teeth and no longer begging.
Zhongli Tang was also “qualified” in her own way. She gave her a house, an unlimited credit card, and got rid of that predatory tutor. She never revealed much of her identity to Qin Wei, and Qin Wei never asked.
Smart, obedient, and sensible.
During that time, Zhongli Tang was very busy. She would come over after work and was satisfied that no matter how late it was, Qin Wei would always be waiting for her. She felt this deal was truly worth it.
Of course, that satisfaction was predicated on the fact that all intimacy was built upon a transaction.
Perhaps it was a case of “familiarity breeds affection,” or perhaps it was the pheromonal attraction. Even though she was treated unfairly and covered in injuries, Qin Wei would still press close to her in her sleep. Occasionally, Zhongli Tang would be a little nicer to her, a kiss or a hug and Qin Wei would be overjoyed.
But Zhongli Tang noticed that what Qin Wei loved most was her mark. When she was happy, she couldn’t help but expose her slender neck, like a graceful swan.
Every time she looked at her, her eyes were full of deep affection, though a trace of complexity was faintly discernible, something akin to despair or a sense of reckless abandon.
Qin Wei loved her.
Zhongli Tang remained unmoved, even finding it laughable. In her heart, Qin Wei was equated with a fool. How long could such feelings last? Sooner or later, she wouldn’t be able to hold on. Yet, three years had passed.
Qin Wei was still that same fool.
The next day at 7:00 AM, the first light of dawn rose.
Qin Wei woke up naturally. She didn’t set an alarm, she had her own biological clock. The thin blanket slipped from her body, revealing snowy white shoulders. Her hair, slept on all night, looked slightly messy, falling in natural curls across her back. Her shoulder blades were faintly visible, dotted with a few red marks, exuding a quiet allure.
Although the sofa wasn’t very comfortable, she was happy because she had received Zhongli Tang’s mark.
“So early?”
Zhongli Tang was woken up by her. Upon opening her eyes to this scene, even the greatest temper would vanish. She reached out to brush the long hair aside, tracing circles on Qin Wei’s back aimlessly.
“Yes, I have something very important this morning.”
The corners of Qin Wei’s eyes turned a soft pink. She unnaturally moved to avoid Zhongli Tang.
Zhongli Tang: “Shy?”
Qin Wei was never usually shy about these things.
“No, I’m just still a bit sleepy.”
As expected.
Qin Wei tried to get up, but she was pulled back by Zhongli Tang in a near restraining hold. With her back to her, Zhongli Tang held her tightly.
The environment was excessively quiet; they could hear each other’s heartbeats and breathing.
Zhongli Tang closed her eyes and buried her face in Qin Wei’s neck, taking a deep breath of the Ebony pheromones, allowing herself to indulge in them for a moment.
“I have something at nine this morning. I can’t be late,” Qin Wei said coldly, merely stating a fact.
Zhongli Tang didn’t catch the change in Qin Wei’s tone. The strength in her hands increased slightly. “There are still two hours. I’ll drop you off then. Besides, even if you are late, with me here, no one would dare make things difficult for you.”
This was the truth.
With Zhongli Tang’s overt and covert help, Qin Wei had a very stable undergraduate career. That tutor had vanished without a trace, no one harassed her, and the new professors treated her with great care. Her relationship with Zhongli Tang was kept a complete secret, never becoming fodder for others’ gossip.
Under the interference of a certain power, everyone simply saw Qin Wei as a diligent and hardworking student.
In such an environment, Qin Wei learned quickly. Without any obstacles, she entered her own school’s graduate program with terrifyingly high top marks.
Qin Wei knew perfectly well that all of these things were resolved by a single word from Zhongli Tang.
Half an hour later, the two were awakened by a phone call for Zhongli Tang. Zhongli Tang glanced at Qin Wei.
Qin Wei understood instantly. She dressed quickly, walked out of the bedroom, and thoughtfully closed the door behind her.
“I’ll go make breakfast. If you have business, Sister, please take the call first.”
Zhongli Tang picked up the phone. Her previously almost-gentle expression was replaced by a cold, sharp frost, her entire demeanor sank. “What is it?”
In truth, even if Zhongli Tang hadn’t signaled her, Qin Wei wouldn’t have lingered. she had little interest in most things.
Qin Wei entered the kitchen and took what she needed from the refrigerator. It just so happened she didn’t dislike cooking, in the beginning, she treated it like a laboratory experiment, following steps methodically and measuring every gram with precision. But after doing it many times, it became second nature.
The reason she had stuck with it, however, was because of Zhongli Tang.
When Zhongli Tang stepped out, she saw Qin Wei’s busy silhouette in the kitchen. Having left the room in a hurry, Qin Wei had only thrown on a white shirt, buttoned all the way to the top. The hem reached just to her thighs, leaving her long legs, thin and straight, conspicuously exposed.
Zhongli Tang’s eyes darkened slightly.
“It’s ready. What was the phone call about?” Qin Wei asked, oblivious to the change in Zhongli Tang’s gaze as she composedly set the dishes on the table.
“Just some trivial matters,” Zhongli Tang replied, not wishing to elaborate.
The breakfast was simple. Neither of them struggled with maintaining their figures, though they habitually ate light.
“This soup helps with hangovers. I looked it up; it’s said to be very good for the stomach. You should drink it.”
Zhongli Tang lifted the lid of the stewing pot to find a chestnut chicken soup. The broth was clear. Qin Wei must have skimmed off the oil. She took a sip, the chestnuts were slightly sweet and soft, while the chicken was tender and fragrant. The two were paired perfectly, providing an instant sense of relaxation to her mind.
To be honest, she had tasted countless delicacies, and this soup was nothing extraordinary in comparison. Yet, for some reason, Zhongli Tang was impressed, she liked the feeling of Qin Wei putting in effort and heart for her.
“By the way, I also made a cup of coffee. You can take it with you later, Sister.”
Qin Wei was familiar with every one of Zhongli Tang’s habits, constantly compromising and accommodating them.
“Alright.”
By the time Zhongli Tang finished eating, Qin Wei was already fully dressed with her long hair tied back. In her shirt and trousers, she looked impeccable, not a single wrinkle or flaw to be found. Her expression was indifferent, as if nothing could affect her, no one could imagine the “scenery” hidden beneath that exterior.
She blinked, appearing confused. “Why are you looking at me like that, Sister?”
It was getting late. Zhongli Tang suppressed her wicked desire to ruin that composure. She gave a charming, almost demonic smile and hooked her finger. “My little ‘straight laced’ good student… come here.”
Qin Wei never disobeyed her orders, and this time was no different.
Zhongli Tang took out an Alpha exclusive muzzle and placed it in Qin Wei’s hand. Her tone brooked no refusal. “Put this on me.”
In modern society, despite the interventions developed by the Gamma Corporation, outlier cases still occurred. Therefore, Alphas wearing muzzles and Omegas wearing isolation patches had become a common, unwritten rule.
The leather strap of this muzzle was a bit long, the excess had to be looped an extra time around her neck before being buckled. With the leather band circling her jade-like neck, Zhongli Tang’s ferocity was fully revealed, creating a tension that made one’s blood race.
Throughout the process, Qin Wei was careful and meticulous, ensuring it wasn’t too tight.
Zhongli Tang lowered her eyes. From this angle, she could see Qin Wei’s long, thick eyelashes. The girl’s submissiveness was heart-stirring. She spoke slowly: “Something came up, so I can’t drop you off. Don’t be angry.”
“I’m not angry,” Qin Wei said, her voice sounding a bit muffled.
Zhongli Tang guessed she was angry. Rarely, she reached out proactively to squeeze the back of Qin Wei’s neck, her voice dropping to a low register.
“Tell you what… I’ll stay and accompany you during your next heat.”
