[ABO] The Despised One Becomes an Internet Sensation After Marriage - Chapter 6
Chapter 6
Since Xu Zhimian’s apartment was temporarily inaccessible, he had to return to another hotel from Viktoria. Checking his balance, he suddenly remembered: that slap he gave Wu Hang three days ago meant fifty thousand was down the drain!
His current balance wasn’t even enough for one night at a hotel!
“…” Xu Zhimian’s gaze shifted to Fu Shiyan, who was fully dressed in a suit and about to put on his tie. He said eagerly, “Sir, let me do that for you!”
“…” Fu Shiyan gave him a noncommittal look. Xu Zhimian happily took the tie and looped it around Fu Shiyan’s neck. But… wait, how do you tie a tie?
Before he was blacklisted across the internet, Xu Zhimian always had professionals to dress him in suits, or at the very least, his assistant Jiang Xiaocheng.
As for this time… he fiddled with it repeatedly. Fu Shiyan endured the Omega’s constant knotting and untying until he finally lost patience. He took the tie—which was about to become a dead knot—from Xu Zhimian’s hands and expertly tied a beautiful knot himself.
“Out with it,” Fu Shiyan said, his eyes flicking up to instantly pierce through Xu Zhimian’s little scheme. “What is it?”
“…” Xu Zhimian bit his lower lip, his long, crow-like lashes fluttering. A faint scent of jasmine drew closer as the Omega whispered, “Sir, could you lend me a hundred thousand?”
The atmosphere fell into silence.
Was a hundred thousand too much?
Xu Zhimian tried to bargain, “Then… fifty thousand?”
“…” In that eerie silence, Fu Shiyan pulled a black gold card from the briefcase brought by his assistant and uttered the quintessential CEO line: “Take the card. Spend what you want.”
“…”
This… this is too extravagant! I’m so jealous of rich people.
Xu Zhimian nervously took the black gold card and said, “Then I’ll borrow thirty million first, okay? I’ll pay it back later… with interest.”
“…” Fu Shiyan didn’t care about a mere thirty million, but knowing Xu Zhimian wasn’t one to waste money, he asked calmly, “What do you need thirty million for?”
“To pay the contract termination fee.” After a thought, Xu Zhimian couldn’t help but pour out the company’s dirty deeds, finishing dejectedly, “They released the video of when I was… with you back in university. I’m being banned now.”
“…”
After a moment of silence, Fu Shiyan’s expression turned cold. He flicked Xu Zhimian’s forehead and gave a harsh evaluation: “Stupid.”
He was sharp as a tack when calculating against me, but he’s this dense when being played by others.
Xu Zhimian held his forehead, standing to the side looking dejected.
As Xu Zhimian made these movements, his face changed only slightly—the corners of his eyes drooped and his mouth pouted slightly. He looked both beautiful and adorable.
Fu Shiyan looked away. “I’ll handle the termination fee and the trending searches.”
“As for you,” he paused as Xu Zhimian’s eyes lit up, “the manager from Letian Entertainment will contact you.”
Letian Entertainment? Xu Zhimian had heard of it. It was the first entertainment company Fu Shiyan founded after returning to the country, and it hadn’t signed any artists yet. If Fu Shiyan intended to expand into the entertainment industry, that would mean he was going to be the very first artist signed to Letian!
Xu Zhimian hesitated for a moment and said, “Given my current reputation, I’m afraid it might negatively affect the company’s stock.”
“…” Fu Shiyan gave another deadpan display of CEO arrogance: “A mere entertainment company won’t affect Rongguang.”
“…”
As expected of someone with such a powerful background—so overbearing!

Having not turned on his phone for three days, the screen was now flooded with messages from Xu Jianan.
Xu Zhimian did a rough count and felt a twinge of guilt. There were over a hundred missed calls and 99+ WeChat messages. The last one was sent by Xu Jianan just now.
[Xu Jianan]: Xu Zhimian, damn it, I’m waiting for you at the hotel where you were staying!
Xu Zhimian quickly called back.
The call connected, and Xu Jianan’s sinister voice came through: “…Xu Zhimian, you dare ignore my calls?!”
He roared, “Where the hell have you been these past few days?! If I hadn’t used my connections to check the surveillance, I wouldn’t have known you ran off to Viktoria!”
“Let me explain, Nan-nan…” Xu Zhimian’s voice grew smaller out of guilt. Passing through the revolving doors, he spotted Xu Jianan sitting on a sofa in the lobby. Xu Jianan was wearing a black mask, but his large, round eyes were filled with enough rage to spit fire.
“Fine, I’m listening to your excuses!” Xu Jianan’s distorted voice came through the receiver. An Alpha in a white mask sitting next to him was the first to notice Xu Zhimian’s gaze. He turned his head sharply, his piercing eyes landing on Xu Zhimian, then nudged Xu Jianan with his elbow, saying something inaudible.
Xu Jianan bounced up instantly, looked around, and finally locked onto him. His rowdy voice came through the phone: “Xu Zhimian! Stay right there, don’t move!”
Xu Jianan’s title as the “Number One National Trash Talker” was well-deserved. For thirty minutes straight, he spoke with a silver tongue without a single pause. Finally, he held Xu Zhimian’s face and asked in confusion, “Why is your lip split?”
Xu Zhimian licked his lower lip; it stung a bit. Perhaps Fu Shiyan hadn’t controlled his strength while biting. His eyes darted around. “Ah… I accidentally scratched it.”
“Oh…” Being a pure-hearted “little virgin” Omega, Xu Jianan didn’t press further. He shifted the topic, grabbing Xu Zhimian’s shoulders and demanding, “If you have no money, why did you go to Viktoria?! And you haven’t checked out of your room here! Why waste money twice!”
“…”
Hearing his incredibly simple logic, the Alpha on the side couldn’t help but let out a light chuckle. This annoyed Xu Jianan. “Chen Bosheng! Is it that funny?!”
The name “Chen Bosheng” hit Xu Zhimian like a ton of bricks. Chen Bosheng?
Was it the Chen Bosheng he knew?
The one who led the championship team NowKing to win the 2022 PGC Global Finals? The one with the game ID number, known as “God Bo”?
He slowly looked at Xu Jianan. His knowledge of the e-sports world was entirely thanks to Xu Jianan. Supposedly, Xu Jianan’s path to becoming a game streamer was guided by this world champion. However, due to some “unmentionable” conflict, the two had a falling out long ago. Rumor had it that whenever they met, the streaming scene was so disastrous it was hard to watch—even worse than the tension between him and Fu Zhen.
For the past two years, Xu Zhimian had listened to countless streams of Xu Jianan roasting Chen Bosheng; the name was more than familiar. So?
How did these two former top-tier rivals of the streaming world end up together?
