Song Zhen picked up a stray Alpha. This Alpha was handsome and incredibly strong; aside from a complete lack of memory and a slightly slow wit, he was perfect. At first, Song Zhen found him to be a handful he ate a lot and was prone to causing trouble—but as time passed, Song Zhen grew accustomed to the warmth of his presence. Having lived in isolation for years, he suddenly realized how precious companionship truly was.

However, this version of Fu Yuhang had only ended up in a slum after being injured during a family power struggle. Now that his memory was restored, he looked at the partner he had chosen while “incapacitated” and frowned. He despised Betas more than anything.
Disgusted by his own lapse in judgment, Fu Yuhang planned to settle the debt with a payout, treating Song Zhen as nothing more than a temporary savior. When he saw Song Zhen’s tear-filled eyes, the Beta asked softly, “Is Song Heng never coming back?”
Fu Yuhang replied coldly, “That’s right. Just consider him dead.”
Later, with a heart turned to ash, Song Zhen discovered he was pregnant.
