Upon arriving in a new, unfamiliar city, Li Mo was determined to carry out his chivalrous spirit of seeing injustice and intervening. As a result, he was “invited for tea” (detained by the police) several times.
Coincidentally, Xu Qing, the person he had several “unfortunate encounters” with at the police station, turned out to be his desk-mate.
But that’s not the most important thing— “Dude, how can you be both good at fighting and good at studying?! I’m seriously jealous!!”
As desk-mates, they constantly see each other—a small quarrel every day, a major battle every two days. Occasionally, they make some ambiguous and intimate gestures, which happens frequently.
Their classmates have long gotten used to it: “Ugh, just give them some space, okay? Just give them some space.” (Sipping tea.JPG)
Li Mo: “…Give what space? I’m going to be a completely straight guy!”
As is often the case, the ‘must-fall-in-love’ law of attraction proves true, and within a few chapters, Li Mo is eating his words… Completely straight? Being a respectable person is the most important principle! However, the road to love is long and full of twists and turns.
