Blurb: Gu Jiaoyang, a descendant of an immortal cultivation clan, drifted off to sleep whilst training. He woke up to find his soul transported right into the middle of a rather steamy high-speed encounter.
Post-coital and wide-eyed, he stared at the inscrutable CEO sitting by the bed. The CEO looked at him coldly and declared: “I will take responsibility.”
It wasn’t until he was handed a business card and entered into a temporary marriage contract that Gu Jiaoyang realized the truth: he had transmigrated into a melodramatic novel about a wealthy family. He had become the “cannon fodder” shou receiver destined for a miserable ending.
In the original story, this CEO was a deeply devoted supporting male character who, after divorcing Gu, would go mad chasing the main protagonist, only to meet a terrible end himself. Determined to change this fate, Gu Jiaoyang took his “Observation System”, absolutely thrashed the villains, and successfully reached the peak of life.
Years later, Gu Jiaoyang still maintaining his persona of an innocent “white lotus” whilst heavily pregnant, nestled on the villa’s balcony. He watched the foolish CEO building a snowman in the garden. Not only was the man alive and kicking, but he had also thoroughly bashed in the head of the original “black-hearted white lotus” protagonist.
Dai Gucan, having finished building a snowman family of three, looked up at his chubby, pampered little husband on the balcony and shouted without a shred of shame: “Oi, my Little Lamb! I bloody love you to bits, I do!”
You are the blazing sun that ignites my heart.
Little Theatre Skit:
Black-hearted White Lotus: “Boo-hoo… Gucan, I’m the white moonlight of your heart! My company is in trouble; give me money, quickly!” Gu Jiaoyang: Whimper… “Mr Dai, he’s being fierce to me! My chest hurts: I need ten million to make the pain go away!” Dai Gucan: “Where did this daft sod come from? Don’t be scared, darling. Here’s twenty million go throw it about for fun. Does your chest still hurt? Come on, I’ll stew a lamb to nourish you properly!”
Mr Dai Gucan punched the black-hearted villain so hard his semi-permanent Korean-style nose job went crooked. He then stuffed Little Lamb’s hand into his pocket, took him home, slaughtered the best-looking sheep on the ranch, and made a whole-lamb hotpot.
